I am writing to recommend Kiley Jackson for admittance for college and scholarship consideration. I
have had the opportunity to observe Kiley’s academic and athletic achievements for more than three years
and have witnessed her impact on the school and community. Having worked with many students, I
would like to point out some of her qualities that define her as a scholar, musician, and a leader in the
community.

Kiley has consistently achieved at a high academic level while tackling a challenging course load at a
rigorous high school. She has been recognized as more than just a student but a leader with great
promise. In my Economics and American History classes, she has the ability to stand for her convictions
regardless of the social ramifications. Kiley was always well prepared in class doing classwork above the
level expected. Even more, she could be counted on to participate in class when the most difficult
questions were posed. She rises near the top echelon of a school known for high academic standards with
over a 3.899 GPA and is a member of National Honor Society while taking a challenging load of AP and
Honors courses. Her academic and career goals are evident as she is a mature and driven student in the
classroom. There is no doubt in my mind she will attain her academic goals.

In the realm of music, Kiley has been a consistent performer in Mona Shores Honors Orchestra for 6
years. She has invested deeply into the orchestra program by volunteering with youth orchestra students,
and helping out at fine arts events when she isn’t personally involved.

A characteristic Kiley possesses that sets her apart from many students is her eagerness to invest in others
which is both consistent and loyal. Her compassion for others is evident as she tutors his peers after
school, and serves as President of the Spanish Club, manages the girls’ basketball team, leads community
events with the Youth Advisory Committee, and still finds time to be an active member of her church.

As a coach and a teacher, it is rare that I meet a young woman as mature and driven as Kiley Jackson. She
displays a maturity well above her age that emanates from a deep desire to take on challenges to improve
the culture of her surroundings. If you desire a positive leader who will work to achieve her goals, Kiley
is your candidate. She has proven the ability to lead organizations and make a difference in her
community with a mature and driven focus that is so rare. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend
