Plasma cleaning of polyester

• Polyester fabric usually cointains oils derived from the


spinning process.
• PLAtex plasma treatment of the fabric modifies the
structure of such oils, making them hydrosoluble.
• Being hydrosoluble the oils are easily removed through
a light washing and as a consequence, the stenter does
not get dirty and does not produce smoke due to the
evapouration of the oils

• The PLAtex plasma treatment enhances the uniformity


of the fabric, improving the finishing results.
• Moreover it improves the adhesion of the finishing on
the fabric
