ACTIVITY
SET INDUCTION Pupils will recap the lesson.
PRE LESSON Pupils tell pupils they will make road signs. Show them the signs you have
made. Elicit from the pupils what the signs show them (Turn left/right,
Traffic lights, Stop).
LESSON Pupils worksheet with the three sets of instructions (texts 1, 2 & 3 from
DEVELOPMENT Student’s Book, p.71). Ask them to read the instructions and decide which
sign they are for making.
(Answer: 1 = Turn left/right; 2 = traffic lights; 3 = Stop sign). Ask them to
look in the book at the pictures to check their own answer before checking
as a whole class. 4
POST LESSON Pupils follow instructions for Activity 1 (Teacher’s Book, p.110). Show
how to make each sign as you read the instructions aloud
CLOSURE Pupils choose one sign to make and make it in pairs and follow
instructions for Activity 2, Teacher’s Book, p.110.
