GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR US UNIVERSITIES

- Letter of Recommendation by Subject Teachers:

- English Teacher
- Computer Science Teacher

- Secondary School Report (SSR) by High School Guidance Counsellor

(Principal). Describing in detail the character, overall outlook and cooperation of
the candidate with his other classmates and relation with teachers.

- High School Transcripts:

- 4 School Transcript – (half-yearly and annual examination) for 11th and

12th grade.

Note: Transcript are a part of the Secondary School Report (SSR); They are not
used for the general evaluation of the candidate, instead to get an additional idea
about the quality of candidate.

- Optional Material:

- The School Counsellor can also attach a School profile, describing the
school’s curriculum and community (not compulsory).

- Additional Grading Materials:

- Note: University generally does not require Class 12 CBSE Certificate. Only
SAT or ACT is accepted for evaluation purposes.
- Class 10 ICSE/CBSE Transcript (if any) are to be submitted with Secondary
School Report (optional).
These are my community services which I have taken part in for the last few years. I
provide this to aid you in writing me an explicit Secondary School Report.

- I teach “Mindfulness and Awareness” Meditation to children of ages 3 to 5, on

weekends at Kidzee Genius Academy.

- I am the Communications Head at an NGO – “Bondhu- Ek Asha”. My job is to

write/reply letters (and e-mails) to individuals and organizations. I maintain steady
communication with UNICEF as a representative of our NGO. I conduct the booking of
hotels and event spaces during several events and I have also written to the hon’ble
Governor himself and other important figureheads. I have held this post since 2017
(Class 12).

- After Graduating High School in 2018, I have also been promoted to the post of Chief
Technical Officer (CTO) at the very NGO. I am currently building and deploying a
unique fund-raising system that uses Blockchain Technology to keep a ledger of all
the donations raised from various parts of India.

- I have personally raised about 80,000 INR over the period of last 4 years for our
annual event of “Ananda Dan Utsav”, contributing set of 2 new clothes to about 400
under-privileged children each, during Durga Puja.

- I am currently working on our NGO’s “9th International Art Festival 2020”, aiming to
raise funds to aid the Tiger-attacked victims in Sundarbans. I also want to add to the
fact that the following year our Theme Country is Russia.

- I have participated and been a member of the organising committee of the Kolkata
Walkathon since 2013, held on World Diabetes Day (14th November) every year.
