COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is geared to develop the skills of the future English teachers
as they prepare themselves in teaching Literature. This course also aims to
develop the competencies needed in a literature teacher who is not only
competent with the social aspect of life but is also equipped with different
teaching strategies in learning culture using a literary lens.

CLASS POLICIES:

2. Absences beyond the acceptable number, may be considered DROPPED or NOT
ATTENDING (NA).
3. In case for absences, write an excuse letter and be able to provide proof upon next
attendance.
4. Late or Tardy students can be admitted within 15 minutes. Beyond the acceptable
arrival, please refrain from attending as it disrupts the class.
5. Students are OBLIGED TO DO RESEARCH as there is always a graded recitation.
DO NOT COME TO CLASS WITHOUT READING.
6. Submit all requirements in BULK, late submission may result to being lost or
misplaced.
7. In case of special cases, please advise in advance as later considerations may not be
granted.
8. Consultation is free, ask questions when in doubt.
9. Quizzes, Midterm and Final examination when missed, maybe taken with acceptable
reason and proof.
