Simple Conscious Intention & Prayer

There is a prayer that Adonai Yeshua speaks when he raises St. Lazarus from the dead, he prays,
giving thanks, saying, “Father, I thank you for having heard me. I knew you always hear me, but I
have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they might believe that you sent
me” (John 11:41-42). This prayer of Adonai Yeshua indicates the inmost manifestation of prayer,
prayers of simple conscious intention, which do not require thoughts and words, but only a
conscious intention, a heart-wish. The full manifestation of a prayer of conscious intention, of
course, transpires through Supernal Consciousness and the experience of conscious union with God,
and they are prayers of Eheieh, the Divine I Am; therefore, whatever is held as a conscious
intention (kavvanah) in the heart happens just as it is intended.

As we know, with the greater navim, or prophets, abiding in nearness to the Holy Shekinah and
union with the Holy Torah, things transpire just as they pray and speak them, but these prayers of
simple conscious intention in Supernal Consciousness are of a higher grade, for they do not require
thoughts and words in prayer, only a conscious intention in perfect devekut, cleaving in unification
with God (El).

These are the true prayers of the Sacred Tau, or Gnostic Apostles, through silent volition all is
accomplished by Divine Grace; when they form thoughts and words, or generate visualizations and
enact gestures in spiritual works, these are all for the sake of others, bolstering faith and love in
Christ, and teaching and empowering in the Way.

As you might imagine, these are prayers in deep hitbodedut, deep meditation, and they correspond
with prayers of the Perfect Thunder Mind of Christ.

Although, perhaps, as yet, we may not have experienced the full influx of the Christ-Spirit, the
Supernal Light, and experienced the dawn of the Perfect Thunder Intelligence (Messianic
Consciousness), having receive something of the Christ-Spirit, the Light Transmission, we abide in
the Sanctuary of Grace, and in a Union of Grace, and as such, we can take up something of this
way of prayer if we are inclined to it. If we abide in primordial meditation and hold a single
conscious intention in our heart, and we do so with full faith and devotion, without doubt or
distraction, the Christ-Spirit, Divine Grace, will take action and our intention will be fulfilled.

The essential key is faith and devotion, cleaving to the Risen Messiah and Holy Tzaddik, and
abiding undistracted and free from doubt as we hold the conscious intention in our heart.

At times, however, as we know, it is not easy to abide in primordial meditation without

distraction, therefore, to bolster our kavvanah-concentration and devekut-cleaving we may join a
prayer of conscious intention with the intonation or chant of Names of God, archangels and angels,
invoking Names of God, archangels and angels corresponding with our conscious intention. At
times, calling upon the corresponding Name of God will be enough, but at other times we will also
called upon the corresponding archangel, and at times the corresponding order of angels as well. If
and when we do this, we will begin with primordial meditation, and we will form a conscious
intention in our heart, and then, if and when we feel moved to do so, we will take up the sacred
chant, holding this conscious intention as we do, and in this way we will call upon Ruach Elohim,
the Spirit of God, and bolster our kavvanah and devekut.

Here we can say, without much thought or many words, God our Father, God our Mother, knows
what is in our heart, and if we abide in the Living Presence of God with an open and spacious
heart, calling upon the Name of God, so our prayers are heard and answered, the Spirit of God
fulfilling our heart’s desire.

Having taught this way of simple conscious intention in prayer, I’m inclined to share a practice of
this for the invocation of influxes of Supernal Grace, Supernal Light, into Beriyah, Yetzirah and
Asiyah, one that is very common in my own continuum of prayer and meditation for the people and
This World.

Begin with primordial meditation, holding the conscious intention for Supernal Influx into all
realms, worlds and universes of the Entirety (Perud), and This World, the heavens and the earth.
As you hold this conscious intention in your heart, invoke the Names of God following the
Lightening Bolt Path from Keter to Malkut, then invoke them again, but joined with the invocation
of the archangels, then again, joined with the invocation of the orders of angels, and then again,
joined with the invocation of the celestial intelligences. As you do this, all the while hold the
conscious intention of Supernal Influx through the Sefirot of the Olamot into This World, and all
realms, worlds and universes of the Entirety, and in completion, chant the Blessed Name of Adonai
Yeshua Messiah, holding the conscious intention of this Holy Light shining in all directions of
endless space.

Through this practice, the heavens and celestial spheres are purified and blessed with Supernal
Light and Truth, the Messiah, and the influence and power of the archangels, orders of angels and
celestial intelligences is strengthened and increased in This World – great blessings and bounty is
made manifest in this way.

You can choose to seal the invocation with the orders of angels, or you can bring the influx down
into the celestial intelligences. Rauch Ha-Reshit Ha-Gilgulim may be intoned for the celestial
intelligence of Keter, and Ruach Ha-Mazlot for the celestial intelligence of Hokmah, and then the
traditional names of the intelligences for the seven planets corresponding with Binah to Yesod,
Agiel (Shabbatai), Yofiel (Tzedek), Grafiel (Madim), Nakhiel (Shemesh), Hagiel (Nogah), Tiriel
(Kokob) and Malkah Be-Tarshishim Ve-Ad Be-Ruach Sheharim (Levanah), respectively; joined with
this, as the “celestial intelligence” of Malkut, the angels of the elements can be intoned: Hassan
(air), Aral (fire), Talihad (water) Forlakh (earth).

Alternatively, if the traditional names of the celestial and elemental intelligences feel too
cumbersome or difficult, instead you could intone Ruach Ha-Shabbatai, Ruach Ha-Tzedek, Ruach
Ha-Madim, Ruach Ha-Shemesh, Ruach Ha-Nogah, Ruach Ha-Kokab and Ruach Ha-Levanah, using the
simple Hebrew names of the planets; and for Malkut you could intone Ruach Ha-Ruach, Ruach Ha-
Ash, Ruach Ha-Maim and Ruach Ha-Aretz, using the simple Hebrew names of the elements.

This is a very powerful invocation and often it will bring about revelations and illuminations from
Ruach Ha-Kodesh, the Holy Spirit; in fact, it can be an invocation of prophecy or apocalypse when
performed with full kavvanah and devekut, and therefore it is a prayer-invocation taught in the
way of the navim within our lineage.

In the practice of prayers of simple conscious intention in primordial meditation, or deep

hitbodedut, very often in the midst of the deep silence and stillness the Holy Spirit moves and
there are revelations and illuminations that arise following our prayer-meditation, or at the very
conclusion of it.

This was a practice of prayer I was inclined to share today.

Peace be with you!

Thank you Tau Malachi for your guiding words.

In prayer with conscious intent based in the primordial state, does it not seem as one is beyond
faith (implying the possibility of doubt)? In greater union with God, faith becomes "knowing".

Faith
by Tau Malachi Posted: Thu Oct 04, 2012 5:04 pm

Greetings!

At the outset, initiates practice primordial meditation, but are not necessarily able to fully rest
the mind in its intrinsic nature; in that case, abiding in primordial meditation according to one's
capacity, there is a play of faith and devotion, and faith and devotion is crucial.

Likewise, it must be said, in the experience of Supernal Consciousness, while there is Hadad and an
experience of conscious union, so also there is an experience of nearness, and the awareness of
that which is ever beyond, and there remains a play of faith and devotion, though not as conceived
in mental being and consciousness.

The experience of conscious union in Supernal Consciousness is very different than mental
conceptions of union, and likewise different than the unification experienced in cosmic
consciousness, the peak of mental consciousness.

In terms of faith and gnosis, as faith grows, gnosis dawns, as gnosis dawns, there is a greater
manifestation of faith - and so it goes in the ascent and expansion of consciousness into Ain Sof,
the One-Without-End.

Faith, though, as we would speak of it, is something much more than a vital sentiment or belief; it
is intuitive, and is a "knowing faith" born of direct experience.

Peace be with you!

Thank you. How is conscious union in Supernal Consciousness different than in Cosmic
Consciousness? How would one be able to tell the difference? In both cases is not one bathed in the
light of God?

Peace & love,

Jeff

Blessings in the Light of Adonai Messiah!

It seems quite powerful to perform this prayer practice after the prayer through the Tree; is this
an appropriate way to preface this practice? I also wonder if it might be good to take up staff and
sphere at times for this prayer, for deeper kavvanah in anchoring and raying out the Light into all
realms, worlds, universes of the Entirety?

Thanks and praise to El Elyon for the revelation of new practices raying out blessings for the
people!

Prayer Weapons & Conscious Intention

by Tau Malachi Posted: Sat Oct 06, 2012 9:55 am

Greetings and blessings in the light of the Messiah!

Yes, Brother Jeff, there is an experience of being bathed in the light of God in both cosmic
consciousness and Supernal Consciousness, but in the experience of cosmic consciousness it is
spiritual light, while in the experience of Supernal Consciousness it is the Supernal Light, and the
recognition of its essence, the Clear Light. We have spoken in many places elsewhere within the
forums concerning the differences between experiences of cosmic consciousness and Supernal
Consciousness, the corresponding knowledge and power, and experiences of nearness and union
with God in them. In truth, though, words and concepts do not convey the difference, but at best
only hint at it; ultimately, the difference is only known and understood through direct experience
of cosmic consciousness and spiritual light, and then Supernal Consciousness and Supernal Light.
We can say this, however, that either of these developments in consciousness is lofty and very
significant in the present human condition. We speak often of the Supernal Consciousness, though,
so that if and when initiates enter into experiences of cosmic consciousness they will know to seek
a further expansion of consciousness into supernal or supramental states of consciousness and not
grasp at this peak of the mental consciousness, mistaking it for Messianic Consciousness. Basically
speaking, experiencing influxes of the spiritual light, we encourage initiates to go within deeper
still, holding a conscious intention for the influx of Supernal Light and the breakthrough into
experiences of Supernal Consciousness. You might say that this is a very important message of the
Gospel in the Second Coming, that there is a greater expansion of consciousness beyond the peak
mental consciousness, or cosmic consciousness, and one we preach with zeal.

There are experiences of astral light, spiritual light and Supernal Light, and each of these is very
different, though their underlying essence and nature is the same, and they emanate from the
same source, Ain Sof, the Infinite.

Yes, Sister Anna, in this prayer of conscious intention one could take up prayer weapons to
facilitate deeper kavvanah and devekut, and as sacred talismans transmitting the light-power
invoked. The wand or the staff alone could be used, or the cup and wand, or sphere and staff as
you have said; on occasion the pentacle and dagger might be used, all depending upon the
circumstances or the cycle in which this prayer of conscious intention is taken up. The prayer
weapons can be taken up in virtually any form of prayer as a support for kavvanah and devekut.

In fact, here we may say that taking up a prayer weapon corresponding with a conscious intention
held in the heart, and abiding in deep meditation, is another form of prayer with simple conscious
intention. As an example, holding a conscious intention of greater influxes of the Supernal Light
into spiritual, astral and material dimensions, and the realms and worlds within them, instead of
chant or intonation one could take up and hold the wand or the staff and sit, or stand, engaging
primordial meditation, or likewise, one could walk with the staff engaging primordial
contemplation, or walking meditation with this intention. Thus, the use of prayer weapons is very
good, and can prove a powerful support in prayers of simple conscious intention, not relying on
thoughts and words.

Here we may share an open secret. The very nature of Supernal Consciousness, or the Perfect
Thunder Intelligence, is actions through silent volition, or consciousness intention, for it is a
Supramental Consciousness, and the nature of union in Supernal Consciousness corresponds with
Eheieh, the Divine I Am; everything is accomplished through the force of Will and Love (intention),
and if and when there is speaking it is in a state of direct knowing (gnosis), and thought and
thinking does not precede it, but follows after it. Thus, prayer with simple conscious intention is a
practice through which glimpses or leaps into experiences of Supernal or Supramental
Consciousness may happen, and it is a way of prayer expressing the truth of our inmost being,

Supernal and Divine.

This is not to say that we do not continue to pray through thoughts and words, for naturally we do;
but joined with this it is good to practice prayers with simple conscious intention – hence a larger
spectrum of prayer. That, and at times, when there are no thoughts or words of prayer, this is a
way to pray nevertheless, and it can prove very powerful.

I do not know that I’d join this practice with the way of hitbodedut through the Tree of Life I’ve
taught, for that would be very repetitive, considering that one would have already invoked the
Names of God, archangels and angels; in a manner of speaking, this is a variation of that practice.
It could very well be joined to the revealed invocation of sacred circle I’ve taught this summer,
though, and likewise it could be joined with meditations of union with partzufim, so that in union
with partzuf one holds a conscious intention, further empowering the prayer.

The way of hitbodedut through the Tree of Life I’ve taught can at times itself become a prayer of
simple consciousness intention, the Names of God, archangels and angels being invoked while
holding the conscious intention in your heart for the reception of all blessings and bounty for the
people and the land, the heart-wish that all might be blessed as they desire, and be fulfilled, or
happy. This can be an essential form of hitbodedut if and when we find there are no thoughts and
words of prayer flowing, or on occasions there is no time for a longer session of prayer.

May Divine Grace take up our prayers, and so may our prayers be fulfilled as God wills and
ordains. Amen.

Peace be with you!

by Marion Posted: Mon Oct 08, 2012 5:05 pm

Shalom!

If one were to join this practice with a partzuf practice or the invocation of the revealed circle,
would one engage this form of hitbodedut before or after? I was also wondering, we often say how
important it is to speak prayers out loud because speaking has a great manifesting power. How do
we know when to speak and when to be silent? is it when there are thoughts or prayer coming into
the mind that it is good to speak them? and when there are no thoughts to fall silent?

It is still such a mystery to me how prayers for the influx of light into asiyah invoke an experience
of ascension. Perhaps this is parallel to what is said: An asention of consciousness is at one and the
same time an influx into the body?

Blessings and Shalom,

Marion

Greater Horizons in Prayer

by Tau Malachi Posted: Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:47 am

Greetings and blessings in the light of the Messiah!

Yes, generally speaking if we were to join another practices with a prayer of simple consciousness
intention usually it would be at the beginning. It is possible, however, that having held a conscious
intention the Holy Spirit might inspire us to take up another practice following; hence, guiding us
to engage in a spiritual work to fulfill the intention. As an example, having held a conscious
intention for deliverance or healing, we might be called to engage in giving and receiving, or
having held an intention for a blessing or anointing, we might be called to take up a union with a
specific partzuf imparting the blessing or anointing. Thus, there is no set rule in prayer, we pray as
inspired and guided, and it is a creative affair in the Spirit of God.

http://www.sophian.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2533&view=print 5/13
31/01/2019 Sophian.org • Simple Conscious Intention & Prayer

It is true that very often we are called to speak words of prayer out loud, having an intention of
moving and extending light-power in this world, and at times we understand the formation of
thoughts and words is in some way needed. Even if an initiate experiences the dawn of the
Supernal Consciousness, still there is a conscious shifting between various levels of consciousness in
a play of running and returning, and the Supernal Consciousness often acts through the mental,
vital and physical consciousness, taking them up as a vehicle of Divine Action and transforming
them. If we look into the example of Adonai Yeshua at the resurrection of St. Lazarus, though all
was to be accomplished by silent intention, still, for the sake of the people, he prayed, giving
thanks to the Father. At times there is a flow of thoughts and words, and incredible inspirations to
pray out loud, and at other times to gather inward in silence, holding a conscious intention, or
there is no specific prayer, only a general intention or heart-wish, and so we will follow the
inspiration in the power of the moment. The knowledge of how to pray, what to pray and when to
pray comes from the intelligence of our heart and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and living
within and cultivating our prayer life, so our sensitivity increases and we acquire greater wisdom in
prayer, knowing what is to be done through the Spirit of God, the Fiery Intelligence.

If and when we are experiencing movements of the Holy Spirit, or influxes of the Holy Light,
usually there is a distinct experience of vibration, energy and heat in the body – hence the phrase
being “on fire with the Spirit,” and likewise there is a clarity that dawns, and we experience a
higher, more expanded state of consciousness, and access a greater intelligence. As we experience
deeper kavvanah-concentration and devekut-cleaving, naturally consciousness expands and our
intelligence increases, and with this we also experience greater nearness or closeness to God; in
the deepest state of hitbodedut we may even experience gradations of conscious union with Christ
and God. This is, indeed, connected with the teaching that the more we experience consciousness
beyond the body, the more we experience an influx of greater consciousness into the body; and
here we may say that it is through embodiment that the soul ascends.

Yesterday, in the discussion of prophecy, apocalypse and sacrifice elsewhere I was giving a new
teaching concerning simple mercy and abundant mercy, and what was said of abundant mercy has
a connection here with prayers of silent volition or conscious intention we see with Yeshua
Messiah. If we study and contemplate the gospels, most often he engages in few, if any words, in
his spiritual works or wonderworking, it is all through an internal prayer or consciousness intention.
As we know and understand, the Soul of the Messiah is incarnate in him, and he embodies the Spirit
of the Messiah, the Supernal Light, in full, and therefore something of God is embodied in him, the
innate union of the soul and God being realized in him. As such, when the Perfect Tzaddik prays it
is as God praying to God; hence, the Son praying to the Father, and as such, it is a simple conscious
intention and invokes abundant mercy, Supernal Grace, as reflected in the many great wonders
that transpired through him.

In the Holy Kabbalah, simple mercy corresponds with Zer Anpin (Little Face, the Six) and abundant
mercy corresponds with Arik Anpin (Big Face, Keter); simple mercy corresponds with all manner of
measured blessings and bounty, along with measured forgiveness, while abundant mercy
corresponds with unmeasured blessings and bounty, and complete forgiveness. In general, the
prayers of the tzaddikim and navim, or “saints and prophets,” of the old covenant could only
invoke simple mercy, and abundant mercy could only be invoked in part, and only in the most
auspicious circumstances; until the coming of the Messiah, the fullness of abundant mercy could
not be invoked, for it is invoked not by the prayers of human beings, nor the prayers of angels, but
the prayers of God to Godself. Thus, the fullness of abundant mercy is manifest by the Messiah
praying to El Elyon, Christ praying to God – God praying to God.

In this, perhaps, we may have some insight into the necessity of the Divine Incarnation, and
likewise, into the power of prayers in the Blessed Name of Yeshua Messiah when we pray with full
faith and devotion.

As we know, through the Divine Grace in the Risen Christ we are anointed with the Christ-Spirit,
and Christ indwells us; therefore, if and when we pray in full faith and devotion, cleaving to the
Risen Christ, so the indwelling Christ in us prays to Christ and God beyond us, and it is as though
http://www.sophian.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2533&view=print 6/13
31/01/2019 Sophian.org • Simple Conscious Intention & Prayer

God prays to God. Thus, abiding in the Sanctuary of Grace we are blessed and empowered to
invoke abundant mercy, Supernal Grace. Prayers of simple conscious intention with full kavvanah
and devekut touch into this mystery, and, yet more so, when there is prayer in an experience of
Supernal Consciousness, or the Perfect Thunder Intelligence.

At times there can be a flow of a very different kind of prayer when we have held a conscious
intention in our heart in faith and love; there can follow utterances of the Divine I Am (Eheieh),
words of prayer flowing from conscious intention that are heard and become thoughts after they
are spoken, not before. It is as though Christ and the Holy Spirit, or the Divine I Am, is praying
with, in and through us, and as us, and whatever is spoken will come to pass just as it is spoken. In
such moments there is a deep nearness and intimacy with Christ and God, and there may even be
an experience, or “taste,” of conscious unification with Christ and God. In such moments of prayer
it is as though God says, “I will it,” and the Spirit of God speaks that will of God into being, much
like the story of creation.

Aside from this, very often after holding a conscious intention in our heart in faith and love, the
Spirit will come upon us and inspire thoughts and words of prayer, while at other times the Spirit
may gather us in, drawing us into deep meditation and silence, and we find there are no words to
be spoken.

We pray to converse and commune with God, and to wait upon the Holy Spirit, and as in any good
conversation, while there is speaking, there is also silence, and listening and hearing, and most
often there is a dance in between speaking and silence in prayer. When we pray our aim is not to
conjure or contrive anything, but rather our aim is to draw near and commune, and to wait upon
the Spirit of God, and to move when she moves and be still when she is still, to speak as she
inspires and to be silent as she inspires; hence, to be present in what’s happening and to abide in
the Living Presence of God. In the tradition, when we give teachings on prayer, and share practices
of prayer, and we share examples of prayers, these are all meant to help expand the horizons of
our prayer life, as it were, and to point to all the possibilities in prayer; this, however, all aims at
encouraging and supporting the development of our daily continuum of prayer and meditation, for
it is through prayer and meditation that we receive our true spiritual education, insight and
illumination from the Spirit of Truth – the more we pray, the more we will know and understand
the way of prayer in Christ, speaking or silent, or dancing in between.

It must also be said that it is important to pray each and every day, and as often as we can – the
more we pray the deeper our communion with Christ and God will be, and the more the Spirit of
God will move with us in life, along with the angels of God. Even when our prayers seem to fall flat
and go nowhere, and there is no movement of the Spirit or energy in them, and we feel very
distracted, still it is important to pray anyway, having faith and trusting that we are in the Living
Presence of God, whether we are aware of it or not, and that our prayers are heard by God, and
God is with us. It may be true that such prayers do not ascend and do not leave the room, but it is
also true that if and when a time comes in the week that prayers flow and the Spirit moves with
us, all of these prayers will be uplifted; likewise, though we might pray all week long in what
seems to be a deadness, or dullness, if we remember and keep the Shabbat holy with a good heart
in community, so all of the prayers of the week will be uplifted. Thus, even when there seems to
be no inspiration we will pray, living according to our faith and gnosis each day. It is only in this
way that we can develop a true prayer life, a true interior life in Christ and God.

O Yahweh Elohim, may our prayers be uplifted in Hayyah Yeshua, and so may all living spirits
and souls be uplifted and blessed; we pray, let Your Abundant Mercy pour out upon us. Amen.

Peace be with you!

Prayers in the Queue

Shabbat Shalom!

It may be true that such prayers do not ascend and do not leave the room, but it is also
true that if and when a time comes in the week that prayers flow and the Spirit moves
with us, all of these prayers will be uplifted; likewise, though we might pray all week
long in what seems to be a deadness, or dullness, if we remember and keep the Shabbat
holy with a good heart in community, so all of the prayers of the week will be uplifted.
Thus, even when there seems to be no inspiration we will pray, living according to our
faith and gnosis each day. It is only in this way that we can develop a true prayer life, a
true interior life in Christ and God.

I delighted to hear this most positive interpretation of prayers that never lift off or up or even out
of the room moving later in a time where prayer is natural and spontaneous. This reminds me of
failures in printing a computer: documents don't leave or disappear, but build up in the queue and
when the problem is resolved, everything which failed prints. Prayers must also build up in a kind
of queue. I needed to hear what is quoted above, as it bolsters my faith when prayers don't feel
like they're moving; rather, they are moving and will be experienced as moving in such an
energetic time. As many incarnations which never generated holy awareness and are gathered up,
redeemed, in a later incarnation breaking through to holiness, so dull prayers built up are released
by the same Spirit in our inspired prayers.

I've also appreciated the distinction between the practice of hitbodedut ascending or descending
through the Tree of Life and this practice here of influx from Names in Atzilut successively
charging archangels, choirs, and intelligences. The nature of influx is becoming ambiguous to me.
The Tree is itself upside down, roots above and fruit below. Is influx always top down? Teachings of
interior stars say yes and yes to other directions! I wished to ask if this way of prayer of influx is
contradicted by holding an ascending pattern (Malkut to Keter) in the evening and an descending
pattern in the morning (Keter to Malkut)?

I was called to explore this practice of intending influx the moment some three or four weeks ago
in Shabbat when it was first introduced. The insights it is generating are quite simple and direct
and very empowering. Because of this practice, I'm aware more deeply of the intricate relationship
between micro- and macrocosmic realities woven by maggidim. Parts of soul are to inner space
what olamot are to outer space, effortlessly fused in this simple flashing from Atzilut into another
array of another olam. To call upon Atzilut in this way is to intend that of hayyah from within me. I
am infused as This World is infused: "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save
you." (Thomas 70) Even if I at times don't feel it, I know it will build up in the 'queue' and release
at another time.

As the parts of soul correspond with olamot, so the parts of soul with prayer weapons. I'm very
fond of taking up wand in silent hitbodedut, intending an openness to the olam of Adam Kadmon.
The cup I take up to intone Divine Names of Atzilut, which I might continue holding in one hand
when taking up sphere in the other hand and oscillating Divine Names with Archangels. Cup in
hand, I'll take dagger and oscillate Divine Names with choirs. Cup still in hand, I'll exchange dagger
with pentacle, and oscillate Divine Names with Celestial Intelligences.

Intending the energy of each olam with each prayer weapon is for me bolstering faith and hope in
prayer, particularly in how the Most High accomplishes everything in simple and abundant mercy:
Maggidim are empowered, even permitted, to move through our calling upon the Atzilut within and
behind them. This mystery reminds of your teaching last summer of how the Advent of the Risen
Messiah changed the maggidim, revealing their supernal roots in Atzilut. To call upon Atzilut and
then these layers of being-forces is to continually draw through myself and themselves that of all
of us so-revealed by Messiah, all rooted in Atzilut all the while.

http://www.sophian.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2533&view=print 8/13
31/01/2019 Sophian.org • Simple Conscious Intention & Prayer

This bolsters my faith and hope in hard times I see in this world, for our prayers from Atzilut,
charge and empower the Divine Will to move and administer these critical needs by way of all
archangels, their choirs, and intelligences. I can pray for peace, which is general, or I can intend
the Divine Name Yeshua Messiah, chant Ar-Iryah Rafael, Yeshua Messiah and then call upon
Malachim, Yeshua Messiah and invoke the Divine intelligence within and behind our star, Nakhiel,
and such a prayer will move specific intention, all the while drawing upon Atzilut, which is
Abundant Mercy. If more of us haven't experienced the destruction we've particularly feared for
two generations since World War II, I can only imagine it has been maggidim tipping, moving,
obstructing, or allowing intentions within key individuals and communities. They have done so and
continue to do so by our prayers.

The Queen of Heaven be blessed for revealing such simplicity and power set into our hands!
May Her ministers, our siblings, be strong through our prayers!

Amen and amen!

Prayers of Conscious Intention, Descending & Ascending

Grace and peace to you in Hayyah Yeshua!

The Tree of Life is, indeed, “upside down” from our perspective, its Holy Root being Keter and its
Holy Fruit being Malkut; through the Holy Root, inseparable from Ain Sof, comes the nourishment
of the Holy Tree, and its entire purpose is the generation of Malkut, the Kingdom of God. This is
reflected in the descending pattern of this prayer of conscious intention I’ve shared, invoking the
shefa of Atzilut into Beriyah, Yetzirah and Asiyah, and This World.

Beginning with Keter corresponds with an invocation of abundant mercy, for Keter of Atzilut, Arik
Anpin (Big Face) is abundant mercy, while Zer Anpin and the world of angels is simple mercy. Thus,
the pattern given, when taken up in the Blessed Name of Yeshua Messiah, is an invocation of
abundant mercy, as is the revealed invocation of sacred circle I’ve taught over this past summer.

This way of prayer I’ve shared with conscious intention also corresponds with Ratzon Elyon, the
Will of the Most High; in union it is enacting God’s will in the Messiah, and as we know, while
Ratzon means “will” or “desire,” so also it means God’s “favor,” the imparting of all blessings and
grace.

There are ascending patterns that can be used of prayer with conscious intention through the Tree
of Life, but with such prayers the intention of the prayer will be different that what has been
given. The invocation of supernal shefa corresponds with the invocation of all material and
spiritual blessings and bounty, and holds an intention of embodiment and manifestation; thus it is
enacted through a descent from the inmost Sefirah to the outermost Sefirah. If we were to take up
a similar prayer ascending through the Tree of Life, it would be a prayer of uplifting spirits and
souls in the Great Resurrection and Ascension, or prayers for full reintegration with the Light
Continuum; hence, prayers of the Apocalypse and End-Of-Days, and the realization of the World-
That-Is-Coming. These, too, are noble and good prayers, and we do indeed take them up, but it is
a different prayer with a different conscious intention, invoking another Divine Action.

As you have pointed out, there really are many different ways of prayer with simple conscious
intention through the Tree of Life, all corresponding with the intention and need in prayer. We
could very well focus on a single Sefirah, or grouping of Sefirot, and hold the corresponding
intention. As in all prayer and worship inspired by the Holy Spirit, it is a creative affair, and the
greater our knowledge of the Sefirot, Netivot and Olamot, the more our prayers will expand and
deepen, and the greater the Divine Powers we will be able to invoke with conscious intention, as
well as with intelligent thought and passionate emotion.

What I’ve shared is simply an example of what can be done with this practice of prayers with
simple conscious intension, but as an initiate works with this, so other prayers of simple conscious
intention will arise, and as they arise it is good to take them up. You might say, prayers propagate
more prayers and that in the Spirit they are quite fertile!

As we have said, the Holy Spirit is a Fiery Intelligence, and knows what needs to be done, how to
do it, and when to do it, and this is the power of prayers with simple conscious intention, our faith
in the Divine Intelligence. Likewise, when we pray we strengthen the angels of God, creating a
circuit, as it were, for their influence and power to flow into This World, and so there is the
intelligence of the Spirit of God in archangels, angels and spirits of righteousness who know what
spiritual assistance can be given and how to give it, we just need to invoke them, open to them
and form a connection with them, and they will enter and take up their divine action, all as
empowered and ordained by Yahweh Elohim Thus, truly, unless inspired by the Holy Spirit, there is
no need for many thoughts and words, but a prayer of simple conscious intention in faith and love
is enough, and through it the Spirit of God and angels of God will take action, answering the
prayer, fulfilling the conscious intention of a person of God.

It is God’s will, God’s desire, to answer prayers and fulfill noble intentions, and if prayers are
offered in the Christ-Spirit, so God prays to God, and the angels of God respond swiftly to those
prayers; we need only pray in faith and love, with an open heart, surrendered to the Spirit of
Christ, Divine Grace.

Here we must say that it is Divine Grace, the Spirit of Christ, that uplifts prayers. It is not by our
power that our prayers are heard in heaven, or reach the Throne of Glory, but it is through the
Christ-Spirit, and through the intercession of tzaddikim and maggidim, “saints and angels.” Thus,
even on the occasions when our prayers seem dull and lifeless, if we will abide in faith and not give
way to doubt, so our prayers will be uplifted.

If we have faith, we will pray, and there is great power in a continuum of daily prayer; having faith
in Christ and God, if we will pray each day and if we celebrate the Shabbat, so our prayers will be
uplifted by the Spirit of Christ, and by saints and angels. In this we might remember what Adonai
Yeshua taught concerning faith, and concerning prayers in the Blessed Name.

Naturally, we strive for greater kavvanah and devekut in prayer, and we actively co-labor with the
Christ-Spirit; yet, the greater issue is not how adept in prayer we are, but rather what’s most
essential is our faith and devotion. Where there is faith and devotion the Spirit of God and angels
can work great wonders, and so miracles happen!

You spoke something very important dear brother when you pointed out the danger of nuclear
annihilation that was feared following WWII and how, to this day, that great fear has not been
realized, and so with many other fears of great disaster and misfortune. The truth is that the
greater power and effect of our prayers is not known to us and very often our prayers make a
radical difference in the balance of fate and fortune, not only in our own lives, and the lives of
those we know, but in the world, and what transpires, or does not transpire, in This World. At
times we are blessed to be shown the incredible power of prayer, meditation and sacred
ceremony, and to see what angels and God’s power has done, but most often it is beyond the
scope of our knowledge and understanding, and we do not know how our spiritual works have
shifted the balance of Mercy and Judgment, or the great matrix of spiritual forces within and
behind what transpires. Our awareness of this is a matter of faith, or an intuition of things that are
hidden and unseen; but I can bear witness of this, that when our soul ascends into the heavens and
the eternal realm, and we gaze in the Light Continuum, so we are astonished by what we see
regarding the very real power and effect of our prayers and worship, and what God has done, is
doing, and will do, if only we turn to God in prayer. What the Spirit of God and angels of God
reveal to us leaves the soul in complete awe and wonder, praising and giving thanks to God,
glorifying God as Great, Merciful and Compassionate!

This reflects how essential faith is in prayer, and why if we have faith, we will pray, because we

believe in the power of the Living Christ and Living God, and we know the reality of the angels of
God, our siblings in the Light Continuum who pray and labor with us.

It is good always to remember that when we pray, we do not pray alone, but the tzaddikim and
maggidim, or saints and angels, pray with us; always we are praying as a host, a community, with
those who love God, or Enlightenment, in heaven and on earth, and therefore, when there is faith
and devotion great spiritual and supernal power moves through prayer. Thus, our prayers can make
a great difference, far more than we often realize.

This is what I was inclined to share this morning.

O Yahweh Elohim Tzavaot, we pray that Your holy angels are strengthened this day; please
send them out to bless the people and to gather sparks into You (Atoh) Amen.

May you be blessed to walk with God this day!

Simple Intention of Ascending

Shalom Tau Malachi:

Elated by your response, I wish to further ask of the simple intention in ascending the Tree of Life,
for its timeliness with our ongoing work for those dying and dead and transmigrating. How might
this begin and end?

Gratefully,

An example of an ascending pattern

by Elder Gideon Posted: Wed Oct 31, 2012 4:49 am
Shalom!

If I may add an example to what a simple intention of prayer in ascent of the Tree of Life may feel
like, our lineage intends a blessing upon those dying or dead with a reverse pattern of the
elements from gross to subtle. In the same way, moving from Malkut to Keter, is how I heard we
may intend an "uplifting spirits and souls in the Great Resurrection and Ascension, or prayers for
full reintegration with the Light Continuum; hence, prayers of the Apocalypse and End-Of-Days,
and the realization of the World-That-Is-Coming."

If I began at Malkut of Atzilut and climbed every sefirah to Keter, I would have established the
pathway of ascent. To gather Asiyah, I'm inclined to dissolve the elements of Malkut, intoning
Adonai, then Ruach Ha-Aretz (or Forlakh), Adonai then Ruach Ha-Maim (or Talihad), Adonai then
Ruach Ha-Ash (or Aral), and Adonai then Ruach Ha-Ruach (or Hassan). Having dissolved the
elements, I intone the Divine name for Yesod, El Shaddai, and its Intelligence of Levanah (Moon),
moving all the way up to Keter.

To gather the choirs of Yetzirah in ascent, I'd start in Malkut, intoning Adonai then Ashim, climbing
each sefirah until I'm at Keter, intoning Eheieh then Hayyot ha Kodesh.

To gather the archangels of Beriyah in ascent, I'd start in Malkut, intoning Adonai then So-Da-Yo-Ma
Sandalfon (or Torahkiel Elohim), climbing each sefirah until I'm at Keter, intoning Eheieh then
Torahkiel YHVH.

How this simple intention of ascent is concluded leads me to ask if I'd flank this practice as it
began, drawing up just the sefirot of Atzilut, intoning or even unifying the letters of Adonai with
intention of their dissolution into El Shaddai, El Shaddai into Elohim Tzabaot, etc., all the way until
Eheieh, which dissolves into El Elyon.

So many of our practices end in conscious dissolution, where we abide as long as our mind is still
and unmoved. When moved, we give thanks and extend the merit of such prayer, wishing all
recognize and realize the holy ground of their natural and spontaneous liberation: Ain.

If this is on the mark or could be refined in any way, I'd be most grateful.

Prayers for the Dying & Dead

by Tau Malachi Posted: Wed Oct 31, 2012 9:37 am

Greetings and blessings in the light of the Messiah!

All prayers of conscious intention, generally speaking, begin and end with primordial meditation;
but then that is true of most of our practices, for primordial meditation and primordial
contemplation is the foundation of them all, just being in the Living Presence.

Yes, indeed, a prayer of conscious intention in ascent can be used to help uplift the dying and the
dead, but if this is our specific intention then at the outset we would invoke and call the spirits of
the dead into our space, and open our consciousness and energy to the spirits of the dead, merging
with them, and we would dedicate the practice to the dying and the dead. The order of
invocations you have written is exactly the order we would take up, and as a general heart-wish for
the uplifting of all spirits and souls it is good.

It must be said, though, that most often in practices for the souls of the departed there is a need
for thoughts and words, and the formation of a vital connection through the generation of the
Sacred Heart. The spirits of the dead are able to hear our thoughts, feel our emotions, and often
can perceive what we envision with full kavvanah and devekut, and our thoughts and words
become guidance for them in the in-betweens. If we are engaged in a general prayer for the dying
and the dead, invoking the assistance of tzaddikim and maggidim, or saints and angels, and an
influx of the Spirit of Christ, then prayers of consciousness intention may work very well. Likewise,
if we are able to abide in Supernal Consciousness and engage Light Transmission with conscious
intention, generating a matrix of the Holy Light within and around us, joining with souls of the
dead a prayer of conscious intention may uplift them. In more specific prayers for the dead,
however, most often thoughts and words are needed, all as the Christ-Spirit reveals to us, all as we
intuit of the karmic vision and karmic condition that needs to be unwoven, or the guidance that
needs to be given to help the spirits of the dead ascend or move on.

31/01/2019 Sophian.org • Simple Conscious Intention & Prayer

In other words, general prayers blessing the dead are one thing, a specific prayers of direct
intervention are another; and what is needed to help the dead, much like the living, is all a matter
of skillful means. It is much like Adonai Yeshua raising St. Lazarus from the dead, he prayed out
loud for the people who were present, or it is like a prayer in the assembly, when we use thoughts
and words for those who are gathered so they might be joined in prayer with us. Of course, in
assembly, during discourse and such we may use prayers of conscious intention within and behind
outward movements and gestures engaging in an energetic transmission through the angels and our
body of light. So there can be something of a weave of prayers of conscious intention with prayers
of thoughts and words, or concealed and revealed prayers.

Here we can say, though, that if we were keeping vigil with someone who was dying, this prayer of
conscious intention could be extremely helpful in the process of dissolution and release of the soul
before the sensitivity of the soul in the afterlife dawns and prayers with lucid and focused thoughts
become more important.

Peace be with you!
