Selected for competitive (stipend) Summer Immersion Program, a free 7-week computer science
program designed to deepen the skills of 11th and 12th grade girls in a national organization
dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Learned about computer science through
hands-on real-world projects, connected with engineers and entrepreneurs, joined workshops,
gained exposure to tech jobs and presented a final team project. Earned laptop.

Explored career opportunities in the music industry and received training and leadership
development in a free 3-week summer program by the Creative Arts Team (CAT) at CUNY,
partnering with “New York is Music”, funded by the Mayor's Office for Media & Entertainment.

Studied under the guidance of scientists to develop solutions to real-world challenges within our
community in a rigorous 5-day program for high school students.
