Kashmir, Junagarh, Hyderabad Dakan
and Jodpur
According to 3rd June plan of 1947, which was passed by the British parliament in
July 1947, had been decided that the process of transfer of power’s into two
independent dominion state Pakistan and Bharat should be completed within one year.

According to plan, the Muslim majority areas should be the part of Pakistan and
the majority areas of non-Muslims be Bharat and it was also decided into east and west
and for this purpose, two boundaries all commission would be formed Urdu the
headship of sir Redclift.

There were more than 600 princely states and their fate was to be decided
according to some parameters. They will have to affiliate or access to Pakistan or
Bharat on the following grounds:

 The will of the people of the state


 Historical perspectives
 The flow the resources and source
 Culture and social dimensions

Though there were more than 600 princely states but, the excision of four
princely states became disputed issue between Pakistan and India.

I.E Kashmir, Hyderabad Dakan, Junagar, Johapur

Kashmir:
The rural was non-Muslim. The majority of the people of Kashmir were Muslim
more than 75% on the historical perspectives, it’s linked with Pakistan. The flow of
sources and resources was only with Pakistan. Culture and social heritage were with
Pakistan.

Will of the people of Kashmir was with Pakistan. Though the rural of Kashmir
made an agreement of stand-still with Pakistan 14 September, 1947. But the situation
became adverse when the rural of Kashmir under the pressure of India announced its
excision with India, this raised and aroused with freedom movements in Kashmir and
the people from Gilgit Bultistan and from other areas, stood against the rural of Kashmir
and they declared their independence on 27 th Oct 1947 Indian army entered Kashmir
and controlled. In 1948, between Pakistan and India a regular was started and India
took the issue to the U.N security council and U.N security council made a seize-fire in
Jan 1949 and the boundary wall between Pak and India declared seize-fire line which is
later on converted in LOC and after unwilling the article 270 and 35.A from Indian
constitution India had declared it is boundary wall between Pak and India but Pak
neglected or rebating it and emphasizing it that Kashmir is disputed area between Pak
and India under the security council resolution.

Hyderabad Dakan:
1. Rural was Muslim
2. Majority of people of Dakan were non-Muslim
3. Historical perspectives linked with India basically
4. Culturally and socially were very closed to Hindus
5. Flow of the resources and sources were with India
6. The ruler (Nizam of Dakan announced excision to Pak)
7. The will of the people was not examine/determined
8. India sent her army and occupied in 1948

Junagarh:
1. Rural was Muslim
2. Majority of people with non-Muslim

From 3 to 9 point is from Hyderabad Dakan

Jodpur:
1. Rural was non-Muslim

From 2 to 9 points are from Hyderabad Dakan
