Reported Speech:

1º- Hay que fijarse en el verbo a cambiar ( tabla 1)

2º- Fijarse en los pronombres

3ª- fijarse en 3º persona

4º- Cambiar las expresiones de tiempo y lugar (tabla 2)


5º- Al transformar preguntas utilizamos :
- IF …. Si ..
- ó la paticula interrogativa (when, where, why,
what,….)
6º - Con must /should y ought to cambiamos “said” por :
asked/advised/ordered,… + TO + infinitive
Ej. “Say hello to Tom” , he said me.
He asked me to say hello to Tom
Ej: “Don´t give up”, he said Peter
He advised Peter NOT TO give up.
Ej. “you must read that book”, he said me.
He advised me to read that book.

7º - La expression “LET´S” se cambian usando:


- “SUGGESTED” + gerundio
- “SUGGESTED” + frase con should
Ej: Let´s go to the cinema, he said.
- He suggested going to the cinema
- He suggested that we should go to the cinema.

He suggested Con must /should y ought to cambiamos “said”
