Read and make a summary of the NTC Memorandum Circular 02 – 02 – 2018.

The NTC Memorandum is about the additional frequency allocatios for broadband wireless access (BWA). The allocation
and the assignment of the radio spectrum is subject to rview within the interest of the public service, in order to keep
pace with the developmet in the wreless technology in view of insuring a wider access to the radio spectrum. The
government shall allocate the spectrum to service providers to meet thepublic deman for the telecommunocation
services. The Commision is mandated to promote an sustain a helathy competitive telecommunocations environment
and the Philippines has joined other countries in identifying the band 3300-3400 MHz for IMT. The Commision re-
allocates the band 3300-3400 MHz for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) and shall form part of the National Radio
Frequency Allocation Table. The Circular wil take effect 15 days after its publication .SS
