Elevator Bolts

The large diameter, flat countersunk head keeps them from pulling through
the material. Also known as belt bolts, elevator bolts are also known for a
shallow, conical bearing surface, an integrally-formed square neck under the
head and a unified thread pitch.

Anchor Bolts
An anchor bolt is a used type of fastener that’s designed to connect one or
more objects to a concrete surface. With concrete being brittle, you can use
conventional bolts for applications such as this. To ensure the connected
object or objects remains in place, you must use anchor bolts.

Carriage Bolts
A carriage bolt is a type of fastener that can be made from of a number of
different materials (stainless steel being the most popular). A carriage
bolt generally has a round head and a flat tip, and is threaded along part of its
shank.

Flange Bolts
Flange bolts have a circular flange under the head that acts like a washer to
distribute the load. Flange bolts that are non-serrated are sometimes called
frame bolts

Hanger Bolts
Hanger Bolts are practically a Wood Screw (Lag) Thread on one end and a
Machine Screw (Bolt) Thread on the other. Designed to hang material from
wooden structures. The lag is wrenched into the wood and the assembly is
completed after applying a nut. Used for suspending electrical wiring and
sheet metal with the use of Threaded Rod and Rod Coupler Nuts. Also
common in the furniture industry.

Tap Bolts
A tap bolt is (typically) a fully threaded hex bolt, while a cap screw is
(typically) a hex head bolt that will be installed by turning the head of the bolt
(screw) instead of tightening it with a nut.
U Bolts
A U-bolt is a bolt in the shape of the letter U with screw threads on both ends.
U-bolts have primarily been used to support pipework, pipes through which
fluids and gasses pass. As such, U-bolts were measured using pipe-work
engineering speak. A U-bolt would be described by the size of pipe it was
supporting.

Lag Bolts

Also commonly known as lag bolts, lag screws are some of the toughest
fasteners. These extremely sturdy fasteners are usually used to connect
heavy lumber or other heavy materials that are bearing an intense load.
These screws differ from normal wood, self-drilling or sheet metal screw.

Machine Bolts

a metal rod with a usually square or hexagonal wrench head at one end and
threads at the other that is commonly available in a size range of from ¹/₄
inch to 3 inches in diameter.

Plow Bolts

Plow bolts feature a countersunk, flat head, square neck, and unified thread
pitch. They are commonly used in road graders, scoop shovels, and other
heavy-duty industrial equipment where a flat, smooth surface is required.

Barrel nut/ Sex Bolt

A barrel nut (also known as steel cross dowel or dowel nut) is a
specialized nut, and is commonly used in aerospace and ready-to-assemble
furniture applications. It is used to bolt thin sheet metal parts to larger, often
billet or forged, parts.

Square head bolt

Square head bolts and screws are fasteners with a round threaded shank
and a square head that allows for more tightening than a hex head. A square
head bolt is often made from various grades of steel, such as grade 5 and
grade 8, and this grade is indicated with markings on the square screw head.

Stud bolt

A threaded rod, also known as a stud, is a relatively long rod that is threaded
on both ends; the thread may extend along the complete length of the rod.
They are designed to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is
often called all-thread.

Timber bolt

Timber bolts, also known as mushroom head bolts or dome head bolts, can
be used in both marine and wood applications. The underside of the
oversized, rounded bolt head has nubs or fins which prevent the bolt from
turning in the timber (usually between two and four nubs).

T head Bolt
T Head bolt has a T shape or square shape head. Its a common used fastener
that supply with a nut to joint the target object which has a T shaped slot and
with its T shaped head sit flush or below the surface of the surrounding
material. There could be a T shape or square shaped pre-drilled slot or hole to
hold on this T headed bolt without turning while assembling with a nut or
female like fasteners.

Toggle Bolt
toggle bolt, also known as a butterfly anchor, is a fastener for hanging
objects on hollow walls such as drywall. Toggle bolts have wings that open
inside a hollow wall, bracing against it to hold the fastener securely.
