2. Classification : (i) A candidate is placed in First Class with Distinction if he/she scores CGPA ≥ 9 .
(ii) He / She is placed in First Class if CGPA is ≥ ‘7’ but less than ‘9’.
3. Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) = Σ(Credit x GP obtained for the semester) / Σ (Credits for the Semester)
4. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) = Σ(Credits for the Semester x SGPA obtained for semester) / Σ(Credits for
the Semester)
5. SGPA and CGPA are calculated to the first two decimals.
6. ‘Imp/Sup’ means Improvement or Supplementary Examination; ‘Ab’ means Absent and ‘NA’ means Not Applicable.
