Welcome to the 2020 Corn Short course
GROWERS
I’m excited about this year’s corn short course and annual
meeting of the Georgia Corn Growers Association. I hope you will ANNUAL MEETING
plan to attend and bring a fellow grower.
This year’s sessions will focus on new research and what it
takes to optimize your profits under the expected prices for 2020.
Research and extension scientists are scheduled to discuss projects
funded by your check off dollars and share their advances in corn
January 21st, 2020
production and technology. In addition, exhibitors will be there to
provide up-to-date information on various products. Awards will be
presented to the 2019 Georgia High Yield Producers during lunch.
Door prizes will be given away at the end of the day’s
UGA Tifton Campus
program. Applications for credits for pesticide licenses and certified
crop advisors’ hours have been made.
Conference Center
The corn short course is sponsored by the Agricultural
Commodity Commission for Corn, The University of Georgia and
