GEMS Working for a Greener Future

Dhaka, Sept 23, 2010: Green Energy Management Services (GEMS) officially commenced their operations
in Bangladesh with a view to provide green energy solutions for the telecommunication sector.

GEMS is a joint-venture between ACME Tele Power (Mauritius) Pvt. Ltd and Crystal Future Ventures Ltd. of
Bangladesh. The core objective of GEMS is to contribute to the growing need for safer, reliable, cost effective
and eco-friendly energy solutions in telecom networks in this country, as well as a greener carbon free world in
the future.

A press conference was held on this occasion at ‘The Westin Dhaka’ on 23rd September 2010. Distinguished
media personalities and other dignitaries were present at the conference.

Mr. Sandeep Sethi, CEO of ACME Tele Power Ltd, and Mr. Amajit Gupta, Executive Vice President Sales &
Marketing for South Asia of ACME Tele Power discussed the purpose of their venture into the Bangladesh
market and how they hoped to achieve their goals to improve the financial and environment aspect of the
telecom sector.

In their speeches, they highlighted the new joint-venture’s mission in Bangladesh and how they plan to execute
this on ground.

Through a nationwide team of over 250 trained resources, over 6 hubs countywide will be supported by local
TRC ( test repair centre ) support and NOC (network operations centre ) .GEMS will provide a complete
range of services from site acquisition , complete site build out –CME works , RF and microwave planning ,
install, commission , operations and lifecycle maintenance of all power , cooling , site infrastructure including
the energy management elements . Energy management services will be core package offered in combination
of one or more of all the core energy efficient technology modules designed patented and built by ACME as
well as third party providers as applicable.
