ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

2018
VISION:

We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values
and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute
meaningfully to building the nation. As a learner-centered public institution, the
Department of Education continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

MISSION:

To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-
based, and complete basic education where:

- Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating

environment
-Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner
- Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling
and supportive environment for effective learning to happen
- Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share
responsibility for developing life-long learners

CORE VALUES:

MAKADIYOS, MAKATAO, MAKAKALIKASAN, MAKABANSA

INTRODUCTION

Vinzons Pilot High School is located at Poblacion. A residence of the Bicolano

hero Wenceslao Q. Vinzons aka Bintao. It is a 15 minutes drive from Daet Camarines
Norte.

Vinzons Pilot High School, as perceived as one of the school in the

province that offers utmost innovations in education is an institution that
largely focused on its mission and vision. Leadership is a form of creating
unity in school perception of quality teaching and learning process. The
school as the heart of the institution is also responsive to the needs and
individuality of each student. It is just like taking risk to change the future by
creating a path for the students to trace as a change that adheres to
modernization but still seized up with wisdom and values.

The school is headed by Secondary School Principal III supervising

119 teachers, 10 Non-teaching personnel and 6 job orders personnel.

The success of a school has to be demonstrated in terms of student

performance. The excellence in students’ performance is achieved when each
member of teaching force and the administrative staff collaborates. The
mandate of an educational institution can be realized, as all who compose the
school do their respective parts with objectives that are in unison with the
single goal of enabling the learners to perform with excellence.

The continual drive to provide quality education can be made

purposeful as the accomplishments are periodically gauged in comparison to
the set goals. Through reporting and reflecting on the reports on what have
already been reaped, higher objectives can be set. More strategic
methodologies can be employed on areas that are yet to be attained. Most
importantly, greater inspiration can be radiated for all sectors of the whole
system to aspire and to work more for betterment of the institution.

Analysis:
From the textbook inventory report it can be noted that the school has excess
number of textbooks in Mathematics and Health & Science; whereas, in English, Filipino &
Araling Panlipunan the number of textbooks does not meet the planning standard of one
book is to one student (1:1) ratio, which means actual shortages in textbooks. However, the
inadequacies in number of textbooks also in the other subjects are being supplemented by
other references taken from other schools and friends
As regard the Learner’s Materials for Grades 7 & 8, the delayed deliveries of said
materials are complemented through utilization topics/subject matters found in former
textbooks related to the learning competencies of K to 12 BEC Program.
For the components of Technology & Livelihood Education (T.L.E.), there is the
minimal number of copies of reference materials provided to every secondary school which
the teacher uses as his reference.

scheduled, quarterly inspection of school building-classrooms is conducted. Indeed, class
advisers are firsthand informers about the conditions of their classrooms needing repairs. All
classrooms that needs minor repair have repaired for student’s convenient.
Intervention: To accommodate students shifting of classes are conducted.
