ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR
POST-DEGREE PROGRAMS
1. Bachelor degree with an average minimum score 60% or equivalent
2. English language proficiency requirement*

All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by providing ONE of


the following:
• TOEFL - Minimum score 83 IBT (minimum 20 in all sections) (Douglas College’s
institutional code is 9568)
• IELTS - Minimum overall band test score of 6.5 (no band below 6.0) (Academic
Module only)
• International Baccalaureate (IB) English Language A (Standard Level) - Minimum
grade of 3 or C
• Proof of undergraduate (bachelor) degree from a post-secondary institution
where English is the language of instruction (in a country where English is the
official language)
• Completion of Pathways Program or Douglas College English Language Learning
and Acquisition coursework at level ELLA 0360 or ELLA 0460
