COURSE SYLLABUS
INSTITUTIONAL VISION: The Sta. Elena (Cam Norte) College Inc. envisions to be a leading educational institution in the province of Camarines Norte.

SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: This course gives the students the necessary knowledge on the different process of integration, teaching strategies, and
approaches to cater the needs of diverse learners
UNIT: 1 Unit
COURSE: Special Topics in education (Integrative Teaching)
DAY/TIME: Saturday / 7:00pm – 8:00pm
TIME ALLOTMENT: 1 hr.
INSTRUCTOR: Aida R. David, Ed.D
SCOPE: This course enhances the skills of the students on the integration of the latest and newest available resources in teaching learning process
by giving and exposing them to learning experiences not only inside the campus but as well as local off-campus activities to enrich their knowledge in
process of integration.
At the end of the course, the students must be able to:
1. Describe the mode of integrative teaching strategies.
2. Identify the benefits and impediments of integrative teaching strategies
3. Enumerate the objectives and principles underlying the planning of integrative learning.
4. Apply the steps and strategies on the implementation of ITS
5. Appreciate the use of integrative teaching as a tool to facilitate learning.
6. Create models on how to apply integrative teaching.
7. Integrate the available resources in the local and national setting in the teaching such as historical places, museums, national libraries and
other forms of arts.
