ACTION PLAN

NUTRISKWELA: BUILDING HEALTHY HABITS FOR CHILDREN AND FOR A HEALTHIER GENERATION
Batang Healthy, Batang may Future!
In partial fulfillment of requirements in NSTP

Nutriskwela is a one-day program and group study that was developed by the NSTP students of Maryhill listed below. It focus on building and empowering healthy habits and
healthy lifestyle choices for children to be able to achieve their dreams in the future healthier and stronger. This kind of project was created as a long term and cost-efficient
startegy to address the problem of hunger and malnutrition in different communities. Through this seminar and group study, the children in target community empowered with
providing health information healthy foods, fun activities, and up-to-date nutrition. This will be also a life-long learning and experience for children.

Goal: The overall goal is to create a one day program that includes feeding, teaching, exercising and discussions that allow children to grow and develop in good health
(mentally, physically and emotionally healthy) in order to achieve their dreams healthier.

Objectives: The team always believe that all kids deserve to be healthy, active, and ready to learn. The Nutriskwela team would like to empower all communities specially Prk.
Villaverde, Brgy. Ibaba Dupay, Lucena City as a first start to take actions that help children lead healthier lives.

Participants/Beneficiaries: The selected children of Prk. Villaverde, Brgy. Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City will be the beneficiaries of this seminar. The target number of
participants is 30-50 children and the target ages are 15 years old below.

Date of the Program: The program will be on Saturday, November 9, 2019 (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Source of Fund: Solicitation will be the source of funds for the foods and resources needed. The solicitation has a letter signed by team leader and NSTP adviser.
