THE WORD BECAME FLESH

John: 1:14
Intro:
Most people in the world have no experience of lasting joy in their lives, marami silang pera,
maraming kaibigan, nasa magagandang paaralan ang kanilang mga anak, may mga
magagandang posisyon sa gobyerno o sa mga pribadong kumpanya, magagarang tahanan,
magagarang sasakyan,, subalit di maranasan ang tunay na kasiyahan. The satisfaction and of
everlasting joy is found in Jesus Christ.

The WORD
 John: 1:1-5
 Genesis: chapter 1
 John: 1:14 from invisible to visible

i- God is invisible
John: 4:24 “ God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship Him in spirit and truth.
a. John: 1:18
b. If you can’t see Him, how can you know Him?

ii- God revealed Himself in the law of Moses.

a. And from His fullness, have we all received grace upon grace.
b. Ex. MANNA from heaven- God’s grace. Manna in the wilderness was a gracious
gift of God. John:6:32 GOD IS GRACIOUS TO THOSE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM.
c. God send snakes in wilderness- God’s law. TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS.
d. Grace and truth came through our Lord Jesus Christ. VV 16-17

iii- God became Human V14

a. If the word was God and the word became flesh, God became Human.
Jesus Christ was human and Jesus Christ also was GOD.
b. Isaiah: 7:14, 9:6 Micah: 5:2, Philippians: 2: 10-11

iv- In Jesus we see God

V14 the word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. Alam niyo
sa lahat ng ginawa ng Panginoon makikita mo talaga ang gawa ng Diyos.

 He feed of five thousand people, God’s Grace

 He forgive our sins
 He teach and preached about the truth of God
 He healed the sick
 He works of many miracles, raising the dead, delivered in every captive the blind will see,
 v- God came to give us grace; we must receive it. V16
 God came not just to show us grace but to give us grace and receive it
 God doesn’t just want to stock your head with knowledge about grace and truth, the
Lord wants to receive it and experience it.

Conclusion:
Gusto ni Lord hindi ka stress, THIS CHRISTMAS HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU PERSONALLY A
FOUNDATION OF TRUTH AND REALITY TO STAND ON.
AND HE WANTS TO TREAT YOU WITH GRACE, TO FORGIVE ALL OUR SINS AND TO TAKE
AWAY ALL OUR GUILTS AND HELP YOU WITH YOUR PROBLEMS, AND FILL YOU WITH
HOPE AND JOY AND PEACE.
