UNHAN SCHOOLARSHIP A WAY AND OPPORTUNITY CONTRIBUTED TO MY

COUNTRY

Indonesia is one of largest archipelago country with total 17.508 island.From

goegraphically aspect Indonesia have very strategic location stand beetwen two big
ocean, Hindia ocean,and Pacific ocean,also among two big continent,Asia and
Australia1.Politically,economically,and energy Indonesia have good advantages from
strategic location,but behind advantage there are risk of conflict if we can’t manage
effectively border line and accsess to explore natural resources.

Energy sector is very strategic and vital for a nation,because energy is a

“motor engine” for every single aspect in modern life. Not surprisingly every single
nation in the world attemp to get energy resources,even with blood shed. Indonesia
blessed by God with plenty energy recourses such as oil,natural gas, solar energy,
wind, geothermal, and many more which need to explored and maximized. But
unfortunately Indonesia cant effectively manage plenty of energy to increase
Indonesian people prosperity. Security energy is formidable task,government must
thinking smart not just focusing in fosil energy,but effectively explore another
potential natural resources to ensure security energy.

Base from issue above and background of this country with all potensial
natural resources and conflict inside,there is sentimental reason from me to
contribute.Then when I heard news in social media aboutschoolarship in UNHAN I
dont need to thing twice,because UNHAN as known as one of university in Indonesia
that focus in defense,and security nation.

 According vision and mission of study program security energy UNHAN that is
“became reference in policy concept and national security strategy base from energy
aspect,also create cappable graduate in policy analyst in order to maintain security
energy”. Fortunately, when I was studied bachelor degree at UPN Yogyakarta I take
study program of International Relationship with minithesis about global warming
issue, sustainable and environmentally friendly energy. Right place and right time for
me to studying politic further,this is my oprtunity to get a chance contributed to my
country in defense and security energy.Through my thesis I hope to find
breakthrough to maintain security energy and also manage and maximized natural
resources for Indonesian poeple prosperity.Im very optimist from potential energy
aspect,Indonesia can be independently in security energy.
