1 Daman

Facts
1. The physical verification of stock of Daman Factory - Unit I & Unit II was taken on 01/10/2019
for the stock as at 30/09/2019.

2. The stock of Unit 1 (except Finished Goods) are in excess by Rs. 15975.33 and stock of Unit 2
found short by Rs. 109602.25

3. Sample stocks were not verified as they were not stored and kept in countable condition.

4. Differences in stock shown as per annexure.

5. Maintenance stock was not updated so we could not able to verify. Mr. Hiren Bhai informed to
give updated stock and reconciliation later.

6. Floor of cold storage was slippery.

7. Finished Goods stock of Unit 2 were kept at Unit 1

Implications
 Samples were scattered all over and not segregated from the stock of finished goods.
 It was difficult to verify stock condition due to low visibility.

Suggestions
 Due care should be taken while making entry in books to avoid differences with stock actually
present at cold storages.
