c. In case the contestants need to change their answers, they shall cross out the previous answers
and rewrite the final answers, clearly enclosed by a circle or a rectangle.
d. Watchers will be assigned to ensure that no alterations are made on the Official Answer Sheets at
the end of the designated time limit.

2. The quiz master will first announce the corresponding category, time allotted for computation
and writing of final answer, and the equivalent point of each question.
5. Each Question will be read twice. The team may start solving the problem while the question is
still being read. The timer will start once the quizmaster says “Timer starts now.” When the
allotted time has elapsed, the quizmaster will say “Time is up.”

6. The candidates per team may discuss their answers within themselves, but the team must only
write one final answer on the Official Answer Sheet.

7. Upon the announcement of “Time is up”, the Official Answer Sheet must be raised
immediately. If a team fails to do so, it will be deemed that the team has given an

to the panel of judges for checking and verification. The Quizmaster will announce the teams
who got the correct answer as verified by the panel of judges.

until the tie is completely resolved. If the tie still exists after three tie-breaking questions, the
