THE COMPANY
GASCAT is 100% Brazilian company stablished for more than 30 years in the market of equipments for gas pressure regulating
and controling. It is internationally recognized as manufacturer of pressure regulators, slam shut valves and relief valves for gases.
Also manufacture cartridge, basket, coalescer and combined filters, pressure vessels, indirect water bath heaters, beyond of
simple and complex units for pressure regulating, filtration, metering and gas heating, all of them in modules, skids or compact
boxes, as well as complete City-Gates. The company has quality politc based on total satisfaction of clients and commitment of on
time delivery. It resulted the first ISO certification on 1994; nowadays has ISO 9001:2008 audit and certified by BVQI - Bureau
Veritas Quality International, assuring total quality to equipments production beyond other international specific certifications as
DVGW and CE Stamp. It allowed the company to register the equipments in the main Gas Distributors and export the products to
many different countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Americas.

FILTERS

CARTRIDGE FILTER
GASCAT cartridge filters use several filter
elements and work with all type of gas and
contaminants as solids, filtering from 0.3 to
100 micron with efficiency up to 99.9%. It is
manufactured according to international
standards in carbon steel or other materials
as stainless steel, for example, with pipe
connections from 1 to 24 inches, class rating
up to 900#, and for all of them the filter can
be supplied with QOC (Quick Opening
Closure), in accordance with ASME VIII Div.
I, Section UG 35.2

BASKET FILTER
Mainly used for filtration where solid
particles are present in the liquid or gas
process flow, GASCAT basket filter were
designed according to ASME to achieve all
flow requirements as well pressure and
minimum initial drop pressure. It is
manufactured in carbon steel or other
materials as stainless steel, with pipe
connection from 1 to 24 inches, where the
basket element are totally in stailess steel with
filtration degree of 20 micron or higher. The
covers can be provided with Quick Opening
Closure in accordance with ASME VIII Div. I,
Section UG 35.2. The metallic filter element
can be cleaned and reused what reduce the
costs with maintenance and optmize the
cleaning cycles.

COMBINED FILTER
It is a combined filter where the filter have two
filtration processes inside of same vessel,
increasing the filtration efficiency, using less
space for installation and reducing the
necessity of instruments and valves for
operation. It combines the initial filtration of
cyclone filter to retain biggest particles, with
final filtration of a cartridge element, doing a
gradual gas cleaning and increasing the life
time of filter elements. It is manufactured with
connections from 1 to 24 inches, class rating
up to 900# and filtering over than 1 micron,
assisting all requirements for operation at
same time becoming standard for gas
installations.

PRESSURE VESSEL

GASCAT company is able to project and
manufacture pressure vessels according to
ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 with thickness up to
1.1/2inches assisting all process requirements,
as well as fabricate vessels and equipments for
internal and external pressure according to
client specification.
All vessels assist completelly the brazilian Welding procedure, drawings, manuals and
standard NR13 as well international standards, test and inspection certificates.
and optionally can be realized field tests.
The vessels are supplied with Data Book
where it is included all material certificates,
welding map, welders qualification

SKIDS
Used to the gas market requirements,
GASCAT engineers started to create and
develop systems of equipments that assure the
best solution to the client necessity. With
specialized manpower and highly trained
GASCAT transfers knowledge and security to
the project since specification stage up to
after-sales that includes installation and field
tests and start up.

Pressure Regulating and Metering Skid for Natural Gas with double stream with pilot operated
pressure regulator valves and rotary meter.

LPG Pressure Regulating Skid for first stage of pressure reduction. Usually
applied with inlet pressure around 4 to 6 kgf/cm2 and outlet pressure of
1.5 kgf/cm2. It is assembled with self operated pressure regulator with
direct spring action, slam shut valve and filter.

Combustion System for total safety control of burners, gas heaters and
similar applications according to Brazilian Standard NBR 12.313 and
International Standards. Compounded by filter, pressure regulator, slam
slam shut valve, relief valve and non return valve, all of them manufactured
by GASCAT, and associated to instruments and other components electro-
pneumatic.

INDIRECT WATER BATH HEATER

The heaters manufactured by GASCAT are

indirect water bath type. The intention is to
heat the gasous fluids with controled
temperature separated of combustion
process providing total security for the
system. For this reason the heaters are
knowed as Indirect Heaters. All heat from the
equipment results from fire tube wall heating
that has the flame from suction burner. These
walls after heating transmit the energy by
contact for the water; the warm water
transmits the heat to the serpentine where the
process fluid passes to be heated.

With years of experience manufacturing

heaters GASCAT became national reference
and symbol of technology efficiency for the
oil and gas market following the standards

and API Spec 12K (Heater Shell, Fire Tube,
Serpentine and General Arrangement).

GASCAT Heater burning system has smart

and safety monitoring developed by the
Canadian partner, the company Profire,
resulting in a efficient system and
consequently more economical system.

GASCAT has capacity and technology to

design and manufacture the Heaters as well
as install and star it up, beyond to offer to the
clients the maintenance service and
instrumentation upgrade for installed heaters
through technicians and engineers trained
and actualized with updated Standards, as
well as offers training and technicians
qualification.
