CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND
The Intense competition in business makes entrepreneur must be smart to make
innovations and breakthroughs, in order to keep it going well. One of the business that
still promising is crispy mashroom business. This oyster mushroom based cuisine, is
going to familiar for people, especially culinary connoisseurs, because its savory taste and
crispy textures creates a sensation for our tongues. This can be seen from increasing
number of buyers at outlets that sell crispy mashroom.
This business has the advantage of raw materials, namely oyster mushroom, that
contain many health benefits. Oyster mushroom is a type of Indonesian plant. So that
through this business, we can raise and promote Nusantara food (traditional) to become
popular food in the community.
Crispy mushroom business opportunities are very promising because people’s habit
for tasting snacks is very popular, this cuisine are suitable for different age from children
to the adult. From my observation, there’s no merchants sell the snack like this, so we
have been found a chance, we can take some advantages, if this business run immediately
beside of the location is near from the residence.

1.2 PROBLEM FORMULATION


As explained earlier, crispy mushroom business is a business that is still promising in
the future. But on the other hand, this business still has several obstacles. One of them is
the existence of competitors who run similar businesses.

1.3 BENEFITS
The benefits of crispy mashroom business among employees get financial benefits,
providing employment for others, and help the mushroom farmer we partner with.

1. Crispy Mushrom Business Product
Our crispy mashroom business product has a variety of flavors. Maybe we’ve seen a
lot of crispy mushroom products that have been circulating on the market. To
distinguish “Ring-ring” crispy mushroom business from the crispy mashroom
business that is already on the market, we offer variety of the flavors, among others
are balado flavor, barbeque flavor, and cheese flavor

2. Benefits of Crispy Mushroom for Health


The content of oyster mushrooms as a basic ingredient of crispy mushrooms is
containing pleuran compounds which are efficacious as an anti-tumor, reduce
cholestrol, act as an anti-oxidant, and can increase the immune system.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS PLAN

2.1 THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PRODUCTS


As explained erlier that crispy mushroom business is not completely new in the
market. It is because there is currently a similar business in the market. Therefore, we are
trying to package this business with different style from similar business that already exist
in the market.

2.2 BUSINESS LOCATION


The “Ring-ring” crispy mushroom business has several advantages, including:
1. Different flavor variations from similar products in the market.
2. Safe for consumption for all ages and also beneficial for health because it has
nutritional content contained in it.
3. The price offered is very affordable.
4. Hygienic production process
5. Unique packaging

IMPLEMENTATION METHOD

3.1 ENVIRONMENTAL OBSERVATION


The first thing to do as a starting point for establishing a business is to directly
observe the environment around us. The purpose is to look for business opportunities that
will develop well in the future. From our observation in our environment, we can
conclude that our neighborhood very fond of consuming snacks. Especially at night, the
area increasingly crowded with people and it is also a culinary tourism center. It will be
very likely encourage the development of culinary businesses. Therefore, we try to make
a business right there.

3.2 BUSINESS PLAN MANUFACTURE


In the business planning, it is explain about the background of the business, type of
business, business location, problem of the schedule, sources of funds, estimated cost
needed, revenues, and benefits. In addition, we also included a business feasibility
analysis that we will run.

3.3 MARKETING STRATEGY


Our marketing strategy is as follows:
1. Make crispy mushroom with a variety of flavors. This is intended to provide
flexibility to consumers to be able to choose the taste they like.
2. Selling products with affordable price.
3. Spread information in social media that contains the uniques, advantages and benefits
of the product (crispy mushroom).
4. Offering procuts on social media and also directly to collegues or friends.

3.4 BUSINESS PREPARATION


Prepare all the equipment needed to start this “Ring-ring” crispy mushroom business,
including how to promotional media is used.

3.5 START THE BUSINESS


After all above preparation are done well, then the “Ring-ring” crispy mushroom can
begin.
