focused competitive strategies. Broad differentiation provides photography to the preschool

of the competitors offers such. Also, all child images are available on products based on

Shutterfly. On the other hand, the study follows broad focused strategy since it covers a very

wide range of the company’s clientele. The study covers pre-school and offers the clientele with

offers within their reach. Broad cost leadership offers a variety of portraits to customers at

reasonable costs unmatched by those of the competitors.

The newly implemented information system enhances the organization’s value chain

activities. The system enhances the ability to book picture day instantly and immediately

schedule the desired photographers. Consequently, the system spares individuals from searching

through the entire system or waiting for several days or weeks so as to confirm. The system also

enhances the organization’s value chain activities through accurately logging the information of

all pictures on site each day. The information consists of background, roaster, financials, sale

information, center perks, commission, among others. The ability of the system to perform

service delivery and transaction functions concurrently enhances the efficiency of time. As a

result, the organization can conduct numerous transactions.

The information system is advantageous to the organization’s value chain. To begin with,

the system ensures that data is readily available thus facilitating faster delivery of products. This

leads to improved customer services causing more people to prefer the company over other

competitors. The information system has both short-and long-term benefits. Customers prefer the

company since it has quick and effective services and the system provides features for enhancing

customer experience since it is highly customizable respectively. However, apart from the

convenience brought about by the newly implemented CRM, nothing else has changed.

Secure cloud storage options with secure SST protocols are used to store company data. Cloud

options ensure the privacy of data through continuous safeguarding of information and cloud

migration. More so, so as to adhere to all compliance requirements, Salesforce has implemented

an impenetrable fortress for storing data as well as observing cloud security.

Improvements that can be made on the system include equipping sales team with

additional KPIs to showcase their activities. Improvements on how the dashboards can be

utilized for photographer performance should also be considered. The system should also be

equipped with employee recognition features and the ability to create goals based on market

rather than people. Lastly, the system requires to be integrated with other systems to refine

communication, operational processes and training material.

Assessment of overall project implementation

For the organization to measure the success of the executed projects, users complete

structured tasks every day. The measurement showed that the project execution was a success as

users could complete their tasks without using workarounds, not to mention that they could

complete more tasks compared to before the program was executed. In this regard, the team

agrees with the measurement since an increase of tasks handled by a single person and

completion of tasks without workarounds is a success. However, during the project, the system

was sometimes unusable. The problem was caused by pushed updates.
