unemployed gets the chance to apply among chosen companies easier since these companies that

will participate will be in one place and this makes the companies accessible to those who are

interested to apply since they can personally check the qualifications of the said unemployed

applicants but the problem with Job Fairs is that it rarely happens due to the lack of budget in

hosting these kind of events also this usually happens for a single day or two days at most which

can cause ineffectiveness as a counter solution for unemployment. Second, Establishments should

put up signage outside their establishments to encourage people to apply in their company or make

advertisements online through social media or in television, these establishment will sort of

publicly open hiring to everyone interested and qualified for the job that is vacant but this solution

isn’t efficient, it can cost the company to acquire more expense for putting up ads and print outs

outside their establishment which can be a hassle, the company may experience prank calls due to

their advertisements since they can’t personally meet those who are calling and it doesn’t assure

both parties, employer and the applicant of the distance between their company and their residence

respectively. Lastly, a website where both employers and interested applicants can search through

the website the availability of jobs that are fit for their interest.

companies while on the other hand the interested applicants can search through the job vacancies

offered, these applicants can put up a profile and their tagged interest of field of work which will

be suggested when a company creates a post about a hiring position, such applicants will be

suggested if the skills and requirement needed are related which makes it easier for both parties to

interact. Through this website, each company has a distance information where in applicants can

view nearby jobs that are easily accessible to them. This removes one cause of unemployment

Having a website that could help the residents of the City of Zamboanga which are

unemployed to find jobs that matches their interest and capabilities and that is near to them, and

for employers to easily find employees that are interested and fit for the job vacancy that they will

be posting., with this it is expected that it will help to decrease the unemployment rate.

Inflation rate is increasing as the year passes by, with that there is a need for those

unemployed to finally have a job to be able to support their needs, but the problem is that looking

for a job that is accessible and fit for their interest and capability is hard and is a hassle for both

the employer and the employee.

 The website will allow the applicant to check the profile of the company before

submitting their resumes or any requirements needed.

Significance of the Study

The significance of the study is to develop a website where both employers gets the chance

to publish a post about job vacancies to those unemployed and to make it easier and accessible for

those unemployed to find job vacancies that matches not only their interest and capabilities but

also according to their distance.
