I will give my opinion about the second statement from Nadiem Makarim namely that we enter an
era where graduation does not guarantee readiness to work. Indeed, from Nadim's statement there
is truth in that just an example of a scholar may not necessarily be able to create employment or
create work from or in accordance with the department. That is because undergraduate students
are taught only basically, especially students who come from university, they basically get mostly
theoretical material and are lacking in practical matters, so those who come from universities are
usually in mind, not from direct experiments, which are sometimes very different. with theory
because there are things that are not in normal conditions. Unlike the students who come from
Polytechnics most of them are familiar with the practice very much although they may also be less
when told to make works and on average they are very less happy with theory especially Polytechnic
students are accustomed to the length of practice and their courses are accustomed to like working
people who usually leave early in the evening come home. From my statement, it can be interpreted
that the student is more prepared to work than to work. If we follow Nadiem Makarim's statement
we have to change the whole of the teaching and learning process, which is from kindergarten or
elementary school. My statement is from elementary school or maybe it is better from kindergarten,
children are more emphasized on forming attitudes, when elementary school can be introduced to
new things and interesting things from children, when in junior high school children can be taught
basic things that lead to what they like so they will be separated and grouped according to what they
like, right in high school they have deepen what they like, here from my statement or my opinion the
aim is not to impose a lot of material on children or students because with so much material
students will have a lot of knowledge but if the students themselves have no desire or lack of
interest in the material will only be wasted learning time for students and sometimes parents will
give a commission negative about the value of their children who are not good even though their
children do not like and are not interested in the material in the end the parents emphasize their
children so that the material becomes better and less emphasis on the material that their children
like and interest in so their talents and interests are hindered by material that is less desirable and
puts pressure on the child. From my statement after graduating from high school, they will certainly
have their own university or destination and will not be confused or have the possibility of
misdirection in the end they also really like the department they have entered based on what they
like they will most likely be able to develop what they can and produce works for Indonesia.
