We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an HR professional who will drive the HR function in its
organisation.
Our client is a leader in the credit rating industry and a leading provider of economic and business
information, industry research, training, consulting and business advisory services. It has offices in Nigeria,
East and Central Africa and works for major local and international corporations.
The Human Resources Administrator is expected to develop, advice and implement policies relating to
the effective use of personnel within an organization. His or her role is to ensure that the organization
employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development
opportunities are available to employees to enhance their performance and achieve the employer's
business aims.
He/she must have a clear understanding of our business objectives and must be able to devise and
implement policies which select, develop and retain the right staff needed to meet these objectives.
Job Scope
Maintaining an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes equality, quality, continuous
improvement, teamwork and high performance
Maintaining company policies and procedures by preparing, updating, recommending and
implementing human resource policies and procedures
Coordinating the Company’s recruitment initiatives – recruiting, selecting, onboarding and
organizing training for employees
Ensuring job descriptions for all positions are accurate and up to date

Ensuring there is a recruitment pipeline for staff
Consolidating the training plan for the Company
Processing ITF refunds on training
Ensuring that all staff are appraised in line with company policy and ensuring continuous improvement
to company appraisal system
Periodic salary surveys and advising on pay and other remuneration issues
Periodic audit of company policy and advising on HR trends and best practices
Analyzing time sheets and monitoring compliance
Monitoring the attendance of staff and ensuring compliance
Preparing vacation plan for all staff and monitoring implementation.
Notifying management of non-compliance with procedures and recommending disciplinary action to
be taken.
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
Employee counseling services for personal issues and complaints
Ensuring company facilities is conducive for enhancing employee productivity
Facilitating Company-wide communications for HR purposes
Interpreting and advising on employment law
Managing employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
Managing Health Management Subscriptions
Maintaining historical human resource records (historical and current).
Any other assignments as may be prescribed by management from time to time.
Educational qualifications
University graduate
Msc, MBA or Human resource professional qualifications will be an added advantage
Work experience
Minimum of five years’ work experience in the HR function of a structured organization
Skills
Oral and written communication in English
Good use of (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point)
Excellent leadership skills
Good listening skills
Organized
Personality
Mature
Disciplined
