This document describes about performance monitoring procedure to monitor NetApp

Storage device.

2. Performance Monitoring

Login to NetApp management console and select the logical “view”

Select the corresponding controller and views should be selected as “Storage System
Summary” to view the complete Ops of the controller

 To find volume performance, select the corresponding controller and expand to find the volume
in it. Click the volume and view the “latency”

Select the “IOPs” to find the volume IOPs. Select the time period either for day, week or month
by clicking “range”

 Select the entire “volume summary”

 To find the LUN performance, select the controller, volume and corresponding LUN in it.
View the “summary view” to find the performance statistics
