PARTENAVIA 68C – TC

Engine Model: TIO-360-C1A6D

Oil Pressure: Normal Range – 55 to 90 PSI- Green Arc || Red Line Max Limit: 90 PSI
Maximum BHP: 210
Maximum RPM: 2575
Maximum Oil Temperature: 245 °F
Maximum CHT: 475 °F
Maximum EGT: 1650 °F Propeller Diameter – 76”

Oil Quantity: Total: 8 Qts (7.5 Liters) per engine. Usable: 6 Qts (5.7Liters) per engine

Usable fuel: 68.5 USG (260 Liters) Usable in Each Tank

Unusable Fuel: 2.5 USG (9 Liters) Unusable in each tank

Change in Take off performance when under wing auxiliary tank is installed
Change in landing distance when under wing auxiliary tank is installed

Fuel additive: Isopryl alcohol – Not more than 1% by volume of total fuel quantity

Leaning at power settings in excess of 75% Max. Continuous Power is prohibited.

Use lean mixture at power setting below 75% only.

Parachute Jumping: Static line – Pilot not responsible

Operation on lean side of peak EGT is prohibited except momentarily to establish peak EGT

This is a normal category airplane. All aerobatic maneuvers including spins prohibited.

CG Limits: CG Datum location is at Wing Leading Edge.

Maximum Baggage Capacity: 400 lbs or 180 kgs (Study both the units)
MTOW : 1990 kgs or 4387 lbs (Study both the units)

The standard airplane is approved for Day, Night operations under VFR conditions, and with proper
optional equipment installed & operational the airplane is approved for Day & Night IFR

AP Glide Slope decoupling may be accomplished by either one of the following:

• Disengage alt. mode
• Switch radio couples to HDG mode
• Disengage autopilot
When starting with external power, Battery and Alternator must be switched off.

Malfunction in cabin heat system, the overload switch should trip at 350 °F

The right hand side door is protected from opening when the Right engine is running by: Solenoid
operated locking plunger.

To obtain maximum fuel capacity: Fill one tank first then the other tank and then return to first tank
and top up. Cranking should be limited to 30 seconds.

Allow at least 2 min between the cranking periods to permit the starter to cool after start up, shut
down the engine if Starter motor light remains ON and if the voltage output is < 27 Volts.

Rapid Throttle movement during taxi operation may cause engine surging.

Do not use full throttle for take-off. Use only enough throttle to obtain rated Manifold Pressure.

At high altitude cruise flight it may be necessary to switch auxiliary fuel pump ON to minimize vapor
formation

Prior to engine shutdown, throttle 800 to 1000 RPM for short period of time to allow turbocharger
temperature to stabilize.

Single engine failure during T/O: Speed & Angle of bank to be maintained towards inoperative engine.

The aircraft is not approved in icing condition since: Wing, Horizontal stabilizer & Vertical stabilizer
deice boots alone do not provide adequate protection for the entire aircraft.

A reading below 8 amps indicates that the blades of the propeller are not being de-iced uniformly.

Combustion heater is located on aft fuselage behind cabin baggage compartment.

Speeds: Va – 130 KIAS, Vfe (0°-17°) – 157 KIAS, Vmca – 65 KIAS, Vno – 158 KIAS.
Lower limit of ASI Green Arc is 66 KIAS (Maximum weight stalling speed with flaps retracted)

Mitchell Century III Auto Pilot:

• Max Airspeed: 180 KCAS
• Max speed for flap operation: 100 KTAS
• During AP operation, initial flap actuation is limited to 15°. After the airspeed is stabilized, flaps may
be extended to 35°
