Our study / arguments:

1. DTM Not configurable for two transformers. (IDD is configurable with limitations on cable lengths.)
2. In IDD PD monitoring is replaced by Hydrogen sensor monitoring ( This argument is valid for the transformers having sensors installed else it
could be futile considering additional cost of Hydran / Calisto vs additional cost of PD sensors as PD sensor electrical would be at lower cost as
it would be adapted in BTAs (Bushing Tap Adapters) along with leakage current impedance. Technically BTAs with electrical PD sensors would
increase the cost only marginally).
3. Monitoring of Moisture in oil which also indicate the condition of insulation of a transformer, is better than monitoring of PD as it is holistic
conventional approach that tells engineer about breakdown voltage of oil, moisture in solid insulation and from the trend of this one can
estimate the aging. This is not possible with PD alone.
4. It is a guess that price of DTM would be dependent on selection of PD options, Moisture in Oil option and DGA option.
