Q: Specify the need of MIS for health care system. It can be hospital (govt, private),
practicing Clinics or other social non-profit health related organization. Please be specific
about the objective of the system. Whether its dental, general hospital, cardio hospital etc.
Answer: MIS Stand for management information system.it is used to record and store the data
and flow of data of any organization and field .Health management system is design to store the
data of patients and the records of any patients, medicines, employees and all the data related to a
hospital. ,
I am going to talk about the Shaikh Zayd hospital it is a private hospital that provides all type of
clinical facilities inside the hospital it is a large hospital and that’s why it is necessary of a MIS
system to carry all the data of patients and employs as well as all the other stuff that is going
inside the hospital

Q2: Clearly define the main business processes of your chosen system.
The main process of health Management System of Shaikh Zayd hospital is to ensure that all the
related things that are required in a hospital to treat patient is available in the hospital or not also,
HMS system is responsible to check all the department data and patient’s information that is
admit in the hospital.
Health management system of Shaikh Zayd hospital is also taking care of medical department
that any medicine is required and what left in the store room.
Health management system is very essential to hold on all the activity that is going in the
hospital and is very usefully work to clear all the patents after the treatment.
Transactions and payments also be easy while using MIS system.
System also deleted the irrelevant records and create space for new data.

Q4. Clearly identify the working of each subsystem, what important information is being
stored in each system.
Registration center
Were the patients receiving there No# and ticket when the patient is able to meet the suggested
doctor and the entry of patent into the hospital database.

Checkup Center
The Checkup center is the laboratory area where all the patient can go for their test that are been
recommended by the doctors. And the patents are allowed to check their basic problems and
treatments.

Treatment center
Here the patents are treated with some basic medications and required treatments like small
bandages and stiches etc. and if the patent is no need furthered treatments so this department
discharge the patent, and if patent need furthered treatment then it can make the admit card for
the patent.

Medical center
In this center patients are come to take medicines that doctors are recommended by any
patent .and take the require things and maidens that are used in operation.

Data base
Were all the data of patents, doctors, departments and medical procedures are stored and all
the data access through the database within the hospital

Operation center
In operation center patents are operated and clearing the patents and this department have
specific authorities to be entered only Doctors and operators.

Billing center
In this center all the transactions are be done and have payments records of any patents.
Clearance center
This center clears the patents and give the discharge orders to the patents and also check all
the payments and dues of patents and if something wrong then it reported.

Q5. When the information is required to be shared between or among the systems. Clearly
identify the business needs and how your proposed system is going to fulfill the need.
The MIS system will basically need a full optimized network in which there will be less noisy
channel as the FTP server requires a less noisy channel in which the latency rate is minimized.
Only relevant information must be stored into the system the temporary data will not be saved in
the directory and everything will be organized so that when the need comes only relevant data is
to share on the network. The need of the business is that every time the system starts the data
must be available and the proposed system will ensure the redundancy, availability and the
integrity of the data available every time.
