iSTAT M2x2
Multifunction Meter & Communicating
Measurement Centre

The M2x2 is a Measurement Centre providing quick,

reliable measurement and monitoring of electrical
quantities in a single or three phase distribution
system. The M2x2 is configurable to meet the
requirements of the medium voltage utility and low
voltage industrial markets throughout the world.

High sampling rate and true RMS measurement give

accurate readings under all harmonic conditions.
Measurement accuracy better than 0.5% and Class 1
Energy are suitable for many applications.

The M232 is fitted with either RS232 or RS485

HARDWARE DESCRIPTION

> Case
The M2x2 is housed in a DIN case with maximum dimensions of
96mm by 96mm by 97mm. See Fig 4 for the case outline

> Display
The front panel contains an illuminated dot matrix liquid crystal
display (LCD). Five pushbuttons provide access to the M2x2 menu.
See Fig 3 for typical screen views.

> Rear connections

The auxiliary supply, pulsed output and measured voltage use plug
in M2.5 terminal blocks.
The current measuring circuit connections on the rear are by means
of individual embedded CTs.
The current cables are passed through these CTs.
