Configuring a Power Automation Distributed Control System is

a sensitive task consisting of designing, updating and loading
the databases of each device in a coherent way throughout
the life of the system.

Configuration of a flexible system usually

involves a high degree of expertise for
navigating between multiple software
applications such as communication,
automation and graphical tools.

To help you overcome these challenges, we

have developed the PACiS System Configuration
Editor (SCE). PACiS SCE offers an integrated
environment that gives you full control of your
substation’s Digital Control System design.

PACiS SCE can be used by non specialists to quickly create

and modify the full database using graphical programming.

SIMPLICITY

PACiS System Configuration Editor (SCE) provides an easy-to-use interface allowing effortless
configuration of the Power Automation application and the flexibility to configure the most
advanced features. PACiS SCE automatic IEC61850 addressing and GOOSE management make
the conception and the configuration of any IEC61850 DCS simple and costless.

DURABILITY

PACiS SCE makes it easier to manage data versions with comparison tools and rich query and
report modules to display the differences when extending a system.
PACiS SCE supports multiple languages including French, English, Spanish and German.
UNICODE is supported for further extensions, such as Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, etc...

With an extensive library of templates, objects,
automation routines and symbols, as well as the
powerful features in PACiS SCE, creating, upgrading
and maintaining your Power Automation Solution is
easier than ever.
With PACiS SCE, you select the template you want
from the library and simply drag and drop it into your
application window. Once the templates are dropped,
you are automatically prompted to complete the
required information.
The various objects of the application are linked to the
templates, so if you ever need to modify the template,
all changes will be automatically and instantly reflected
in all objects.
When generating the final application database, a
powerful integrated check procedure ensures the
consistency and coherency of the resulting global
application database.

PACiS SCE uses a single object description named
template and each template is a series of tight
associations between:

AUTOMATION ROUTINES
PACiS SCE provides two efficient ways to configure an
automation routine within the equipment or distributed
throughout the entire application.
The Programmable Scheme Logic editor -
PACiS SCE PSL allows you to use logic gates and
timers to build reflex automation routines.
PACiS SCE-ISaGRAF® provides you with a full set of
IEC 61131 - 3 programming languages for you to
develop and reuse your PLC applications.
Programming languages supported are SFC
Sequential Function Chart, FBD Function Block
Diagram, LD Ladder Diagram, ST Structured Text and
IL Instruction List.
