SEW Writing Guidelines

1. Order Details & Confirmation


1.1. Every order has to be confirmed within 30 minutes of receiving email.
1.2. It is the responsibility of writer to ask questions from the customer or support team if the
order’s instructions are not clear. Do not accept an order or acknowledge if it is not clear. If
any of the below instructions is ignored, fine as per policy will be strictly applied.
1.3. The details of the order must be carefully checked and once an order is prepared, the paper
details must be matched with the developed paper. 100% compliance of instructions must
be done; otherwise it will not be accepted.
1.4. If the paper written does not meet the company’s writing standards, then an editor has the
discretion to give the second chance to the writer to maintain the quality and reappear in
the test again. The two unsuccessful attempts by the writer will allow them to reappear in
the test after three months.
1.5. A writer has to provide unlimited revisions of the test until it satisfies the writing standards
of the company.
The outcomes of the sample test cannot be challenged by the author. The company has
rights to reject or accept papers whatsoever the reasons may be.
2. Formatting
2.1.Follow the correct format:
 1 inch margins from all sides (Left, Right Top, and Bottom).
 Fonts: Times new roman, Font Size: 12
 Double spaced
 2 to 3 references with in-text citations
 Other requirements of APA citation style (pay attention to correct referencing).
2.2. Use the correct form and punctuation for in-text citations, according to the style choice.
2.3. Make sure the thesis sentence appears in the first paragraph.
2.4. Write a new, original title of less than nine words for each essay.
2.5. Write the lecturer’s question on the coversheet. Center your new title on top of the essay.
2.6. Do not justify the text. Align it to the left only.
2.7. Do not identify any keywords.
2.8. Make sure you understand how to write and format a reference list.
2.9.Understand the difference between an author’s first and last names.
2.10. You must state date of retrieval from the Internet.
2.11. Always remove hyperlinks from URLs.
2.12. Support each fact with an in-text citation.
2.13. “Number of sources” means number of books, online texts or articles you need to
reference. A paper always needs many more in-text citations from the sources than just two
or three.
2.14. There is no need for page numbers for essays less than four pages.
2.15. Headers are not necessary for short essays.
2.16. Do not include an abstract for an essay shorter than five pages, or for an essay without
sub-headings.
2.17. The formatting style given to you must be exactly used. Keep the title page as it is but
just to write title in place of write your title here. Moreover you have to follow the below as
well.
3. Body Text
3.1.Writing paper has purpose. Without the purpose, a paper is not written. Hence, your
introduction in the paper must have the thesis statement along with the purpose. Owl
Purdue University guidelines in this context must be studied. Conclusion is the findings of
your paper and it justifies the thesis and the purpose statements. It must be comprehensive
and written in your own words. It must not be short as introduction and conclusion are the
crux of the paper and they determine the paper’s strength.
3.2.Only use present tense, present perfect tense, and past tense in the paper. Active and
passive voices are allowed.
3.3.Create specific paper structure or table of content. It means headings and sub-headings for
the points mentioned in paper details.
3.4.Every sentence must not go over 1.5 lines. Full stop must be put after 1.5 lines. Short
sentences are required only.
3.5.Do not use contractions in the paper. Like Don’t, Can’t, etc. Type their full forms.
3.6.No any paragraph will be less than 6 lines. At least 3 sentences must be present.
3.7.Page length requirement must be met and should be exceeded if required. Further, words
count per double spaced page is between 275 - 300 words and it must also be covered.
3.8.If paper details bound you to specific words count then ignore page numbers and additional
words count. Follow the requirements to the dot.
3.9.Figures, Tables, Charts, Appendices must be given proper title with proper cropped image
and then they must be supported with intext citation. For example, Table 1: Facts and
Figures, Cropped Image, and then Source: (John, 2017)
3.10. The formatting style given to you must be exactly used. Keep the title page as it is but
just to write title in place of write your title here.
3.11. The levels of headings must be used exactly as given below:
3.12. Begin writing your paper with a .5” indent and continue writing it with an indent for
each new paragraph.
3.13. Heading Level 1, Centered, Boldface

Heading Level 1.1, Flush left, Boldface, Uppercase and Lowercase

Heading level 1.1.1, indented, boldface, lowercase ends with period.

Heading Level 1.1.1.1, indented, boldface, lowercase, italicized, ends with period.

Heading level 1.1.1.1.1, italicized, lowercase, ends with a period


3.14. All files/paper details / messages were carefully checked and paper meets all the
instructions to the dot.
4. Plagiarism
4.1.Plagiarism must be zero percent according to Turnitin.
4.2. Plagiarism is a serious offence hence, it must be completely avoided. If you copy more
than one word from anywhere then as per company’s rules, it is treated plagiarism. Hence,
everything you write must be in your own words completely. If a violation is reported, then
writer would be fined and termination of corporate relationship will be made as per rules.
5. Grammar
5.1. Do not use first person plural (we, us).
5.2. Understand the meaning and use of the definite article (the) and the indefinite article (a
and an).
5.3. Do not use exclamation marks.
5.4. Do not use first person singular (I) or personal opinions, except in personal statement or
admission papers.
5.5. Do not capitalize common nouns.
5.6. Avoid all forms of questions, including rhetorical questions.
5.7. Do not use colloquial terms or expressions.
5.8. Do not use empty adverbs such as basically, actually, really.
5.9. Do not use hyperbole (great exaggeration) or hyperbolic words such as enormous, huge,
magnificent, glorious or other superlatives such as most obnoxious.
5.10. Make sure all verbs agree with their subject in number (singular and plural).
5.11. Make sure all prepositions agree with the verb (in English, most verbs have only one or
two prepositions that can be used (results in, not results to).
5.12. Check all spellings.
5.13. Check that all adverbs are in the right place (you cannot put an adverb inside an infinitive
verb like this: He tried to neatly write his name.)
5.14. Do not use archaic words or terms. Young native English-speakers do not use these
words. Some are hence, whereby, nevertheless, henceforth, hereunder, abovementioned,
therefore, thus.
5.15. Nowadays, these words are only used in certain forms of Colonial English.
5.16. Do not use meaningless words as transitions just for their own sake.
5.17. Use the present tense. Never use the future tense (will be), unless you intend to suggest
the future.
5.18. Do not use the present continuous tense as the main tense of the paper (is writing, are
thinking). Use the present: writes, think.
5.19. Check punctuation: do not leave out any commas.
5.20. Write short sentences: only one sentence for each concept.
5.21. Do not start a sentence with a conjunction (and, but)
5.22. Do not write useless words to make sentences appear grander or more complicated.
5.23. Make sure each sentence makes perfect, clear and logical sense.
5.24. Use a hyphen for compound words such as stress-free.
5.25. Do not repeat words frequently within the same paragraph. Use a pronoun or a synonym
to vary the Syntax.
5.26. Do not repeat the same concept, idea or thought.
5.27. Do not use gender-specific words for general meaning (man, mankind, men, manhood,
gentleman)
5.28. Do not write lady when you mean woman.
5.29. Do not use Latin abbreviations such as etc., i.e., e.g.; use what they mean in English: and
so forth, that is, for example.
5.30. When paraphrasing, make sure the „synonyms‟ you use mean exactly the same as the
word you wish to replace.
5.31. Do not start a sentence with „As such.‟
5.32. Never write „so as to‟ when you mean „to‟.
5.33. The paper must be checked on Grammarly and Ginger. Most importantly, don’t accept all
suggestions. You have to check and manually correct all grammatical errors before sending
paper to us. Once it is checked from two softwares in Microsoft Office Word, then the paper
must be checked manually. Grammarly and Ginger are the free add-ins installed in Microsoft
word through Google. Download and Install them and run your paper.
5.34. The paper must have been proofread at least twice for grammar, punctuation and
coherency issues.
6. References
6.1.“Number of sources” means number of books, online texts or articles you need to refer in
the paper. A paper always needs many more in-text citations from the sources than just
two or three.
6.2.Only use unpaid and accessible journal articles, textbooks, company’s report, and
government websites as references / sources. It is must to use the attachments provided in
the paper details and cite them. Uses of other sources are not allowed.
6.3.Every reference must be within last 5 years.
6.4.You have to use Owl Purdue University guidelines for intext citations and referencing.

getting intext citations and the list of references http://www.citethisforme.com/
6.5.Insert all fields of any source in citethisforme.com. If a source is book then its author’s
name, title, year of publication, city, country etc. must be present. Used manual button in
book / journal article / website / etc.. on citethisforme.com and fill out all fields and then
click on add reference button.
6.6.It is mandatory to use all attachments and cite them in your paper in an order.
Everything obtained from outside sources in the paper must be given intext citations. Only
conclusion or the parts written by you do not need to be cited.
