Acts and Letters of the Apostles

“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke
the word of God boldly.” – Acts 4:31
FIRST DAY: Read the notes and the references.

SECOND DAY: Read Acts 5:1-11.

THIRD DAY: Read Acts 5:12-16.


The apostles healed many, and many more came to faith.

FOURTH DAY: Read Acts 5:17-42.
The religious officials arrested, jailed and punished the apostles.
8. What clear signs of the power of God did the religious leaders appear to miss or ignore? (See also John 15:26-27.)

FIFTH DAY: Read Acts 6:1-7.


As the numbers and diversity of followers grew, a dispute arose among them.
11. What crisis threatened to distract the apostles from their God-given call? What was the wisdom behind the solution?

12. What was the primary requirements for those who would serve the Lord? Why is this important?

13. a. What need in your church have you been asked to meet or were made aware of?

b. How could you help those in your community who are hungry or lack food resources?

SIXTH DAY: Review Acts 5:1-6:7.


14. What was your biggest takeaway from your personal study of this week’s lesson?
