1. What is the importance and benefits of ICT in teaching? What are the barriers of ICT in teaching?
It Improves engagement when technology is integrated into lessons, students are
expected to be more interested in the subjects they are studying. Improves knowledge
retention students who are engaged and interested in things they are studying, are
expected to have a better knowledge retention. Encourages individual learning
technology provides great opportunities for making learning more effective for everyone
with different needs. Encourages collaboration by getting involved in different online
activities and Students can learn useful life skills through technology.
The study reveals that the inhibiting factors are unrealistic policies of ICT,
poor infrastructure, lack of teacher competence, confidence, incentive, perception
and beliefs, imposed curriculum, lack of proper network, political instability, brain
drain, sporadic electricity, poor transportation, lack of public awareness and
participation, poor school leadership, technological illiteracy and lack of
pedagogical skills.

2. How do you assess the performance of the learners? If your learners did not master the desired
competencies based on standards, what intervention measures do you apply to improve the
learners’ performance?
The performance of the learners are being assessed by creating assignments, creating
exams, using classroom assessment techniques, using concept maps, using concept tests,
assessing group work and creating and using rubrics.
If my learners did not master the competencies based on standards the interventions I
applied are giving plenty of feedback, continually monitor progress, direct instruction and
make sure they reflect.
3. What interactive and innovative teaching strategies do you use/employ to respond to the needs,
interests and abilities of diverse types of learners?
Having a diverse group of students simply means recognizing that all the
people are unique in their own way. The strategies to manage diversity in the
classroom is by Inquiry-Based Learning. It is one of the most powerful teaching
strategies in the classroom because research tells us that students learn best
when they construct their own meaning. We can also include Quick responds
codes, project based learning and wisely managed classroom activities in our
strategies.
