with facilities but experienced doctors and nurses which can handle
modern machines .
Abstract :

In today's highly competitive environment, hospitals are increasingly

realizing the need to focus on service quality as a measure to improve their
competitive position.

Aesthetics should also be incorporated in the planning and designing of

hospitals so as to provide a quality and pleasure experience from the
surroundings.

The hospital of the future will not just be a hospital as we recognize it today;
it will be a hub in a decentralized network, serving patients not only in the hospital
but also in local hospitals and their homes. It may assume the form of a boundary
less institution. A majority of the tertiary care hospitals of the future are likely to
become organ based centres. It is also visualized that in the future the more
common hospital functions will move closer to patients and only a few specific
specialized function will be concentrated at other places.

The concentration of specialized facilities and dispersal of other hospital

functions will influence the building design and planning. A number of smaller
facilities will be required at several locations to accommodate the dispersed
functions and larger facilities at an early assessable location to accommodate the
concentrated functions.

The role of the hospital is in transformation. The main parameters, which

have impacted changes in hospital architecture, are:

* Enhanced patients’ expectations

* Increased emphasis on ambulatory care

* Enhanced standards of care

* Demographic and epidemiological changes

* Medical Insurance

* Public-private partnerships

* Effects of globalization on healthcare delivery

INTRODUCTION :

India faces a growing need to fix its basic health concerns in the
areas of HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, and diarrhoea. Additionally, children
under five are born underweight and roughly 7% (compared to 0.8% in
the US) of them die before their fifth birthday. Sadly, only a small
percentage of the population has access to quality sanitation, which
further exacerbates some key concerns above.
For primary healthcare, the Indian government spends only about 30%
of the country’s total healthcare budget . This is just a fraction of what
the US and the UK spend every year. One way to solve this problem is to
address the infrastructure issue… by standardising diagnostic
procedures, building rural clinics, and developing streamlined health IT
systems, and improving efficiency. The need for skilled medical
graduates continues to grow, especially in rural areas which fail to
attract new graduates because of financial reasons.
Health care are a unique place in our domain which has great
relationship with human life from mother’s womb to the end of life. It is
widely accepted that hospitals are playing a significant role in this fast
pacing world after crossing era of transformation . Hence, hospital is an
important word in every community to maintain and improve the
quality of life. My health care city will be a mothers womb which
supplies all comfort to the user and all health facades .

It is the exact balance of a wellness and a home. It encourages classroom and corridor learning;

theory and practical, It is a window to the continuously unfolding drama of the sights and sounds

of nature.

In this 21st century “hospital” is an unavoidably important word in any community. The growth

in the healthcare services in the country is driven by the 350 million strong middle class people

aspiring for quality healthcare services, thus increasing international confidence on India as a

potential, high quality and low cost medical tourism destination. According to the WHO report,

India needs to add 80,000 hospital beds each year for the next five years to meet the demands of

its growing population.

Aim:
Increase community’s social cohesiveness and its physical health , To achieve deeper
qualities and sensibility of place with a carbon neutrality .

OBJECTIVE:
Innovation in medical sciences and the life style of all class of people have changed
hospital architecture.

A Health care unit means, it should make the patient say that “I feel like, I am at home
here “, In addition it must also satisfy all the professional requirements.
The patient is to be kept as the focus on Healthcare buildings. This will be designed as
living spaces for patients rather than warehouses for the sick.
Thus, turning the lime light to this area, we have opted it to establish a clinically and
technically advanced Health care city .

NEED AND BENIFITS:

Economic Times ( India ) - The requirement will be for 3.5 million beds, 3 million doctors and 6 million nurses over a period of 20 years, it
added. For instance, over the last decade roughly 100,000 hospital beds have been added annually. If India continues to maint ain this rate, it will fall short of the winning leap
target by 1.6 million beds by 2034.

It further said the ratio of doctors per 1,000 people is just 0.6 while in Brazil and China it is 1.8. India has only 1.3 hospital beds per 1,000 people-significantly lower than the
guideline of 3.5 beds defined by World Health Organisation.

India has an wide variety of language , culture and religion impact on the society
people are moving from hospital to hospitals to cure the disease , my stop will be the
destiny to the user with all the required amenities with a special ambulatory service with
a decreased carbon level in my site . It a great challenge to receive the need of the
community .

OPPORTUNITY:
To create an special place for the diseased community and also to act as an recreational
based treatment . the main cause of the diseases are mental stress and healing trough
the nature will stop the source of the disease . Health care city will be the second home
to the user .Could have better connections for the users and also creates an
environmental awareness .

research facility, its a manner in which they are collaborated .Delivering bespoke
solutions, and satisfies the need of the people .
