Learn to code
As computers become more and more prevalent in all aspects of our life,
learning how to code is quickly becoming a necessity. Furthermore, like
any language, the younger one starts, the easier it is to pick up. For this
reason we will be running two courses aimed primarily at the younger
audiences.
Scratch Coding.
- Scratch is a simple programming language perfect for
beginners and children. In this five week scratch
course you will create a platforming game, complete
with a soundtrack, animations, a score system and
much more!

Recommended age 8-16.

Python Coding.
- Python is one of the most used programming
languages at all levels of ability. In this five
week python course you will learn the basic
concepts of programming, and how to apply
them to more complicated programs,
including creating your own artificial
intelligence learning algorithm.

Recommended age 12+

Introduction to Digital Fabrication
Introduction to Digital Fabrication is a five
week course where we will teach you the ins
and outs of modern digital manufacturing
methods.

Modern manufacturing is performed by

creating a digital design on a computer. Said
design is then given to a computer controlled
machine which will then create the design for
you.

As part of the Digital Fabrication Course we

will give you the knowledge needed to not
only use the software required to create your
own designs, but also to operate the
machines themselves.

Throughout the course you will have the

chance to create a variety of items of your
own choosing which you are then welcome to
keep, either for yourself or perhaps as a gift.

No prior knowledge with computers or design

is required for the course, just enthusiasm
and a willingness to learn!

Dates:
- Course starts on Tuesday 14/01/2020 and
runs for every Tuesday thereafter until
Tuesday 11/02/2020
