 Include relevant information only
 Keep it simple, clear and neat
 Limit 1-2 pages
 Be accurate
 Use bullets to describe duties/ responsibilities of previous work
 Font size should be between 10-12 points
 Use 2.5 cm margins

 What are the parts of the application letter and what was a letter all about?
 Application include the following parts:
 The first paragraph which include the greetings and why you are writing
 Middle paragraph which tells what you have to offer
 Lastly, Concluding paragraph which tells how you will follow up
 The purpose of an application letter is to inform the company why you are writing, what you have to offer and
how will you follow up?

 What is the process and tips during a job interview?


 A job interview is an opportunity for the employer to find out more about you – your education, work
background, interests, personality – and for you to find out more about the employer, business, company,
organization and the specific job to which you are applying.
 In general, there are three main parts to the interview which include the Opening, Body and Closing.
 Opening includes the greetings, introductions, employer state the purpose if interview
 Body- the interviewer ask questions, typical questions include:
 Tell me about yourself
 What qualities and skills do you have that will help you perform this job?
 What previous experience do you have that are related to this position, etc.
 Closing-the interviewer thanks you, and will provide information on the next step of the hiring process.
 There are three phase on a job interview, and which are the following. Before, during and after the interview.
 Before the interview you must learn as much as you can about the organization or business to which you are
applying for a job.
 Dress appropriately or the interview. Neat, clean clothing and shoes
 Allow plenty of time to get to the interview
 During the interview you must greet the interviewer properly if possible handshake the interviewer
 Speak slowly and clearly
 Think before speaking
 Shake the interviewer’s hand at the end and thank him/her for meeting with you to discussion the position.
 After the interview send a thank you letter by post or email if appropriate.
 Follow up with a phone call after a week if appropriate.

 What attitude or behavior should an employee should possess when she/he is at work?
 an employee should dress neatly and appropriately for the work
 Be on time
 Manage time well
 Speak to co-workers in a positive and respectful manner
 Speak to supervisors in a positive and productive manner
 Be open to feedback and ask for feedback
 Be honest
 Keep discussion and interactions related to work

 is the ability to use your time wisely and appropriately.

 Setting goals and planning
 Prioritizing what you need to do a day, in a week, in a month, etc.
 Making decisions about an important choices
 Scheduling what you need to do
 What are the qualities that will help you to become a better time management?
 Good organization skills
 Self-discipline
 Motivation
 Being confused on accomplishing task and getting distracted
