Existing Fisheries component incorporated in SDRF/ NDRF
Provisions to be incorporated for Calamity relief in Fisheries as a separate Departmental budget as
agriculture and Animal Husbandry.
*1st row part is mainly for the marine fisheries, Components for the inland fisheries are missing in the
file.
*2nd row is mainly for the nursery farmers and the hatcheries, grow out table fish farmer’s component is
totally missing out. Thus the Input subsidy for the grow out table fish rearer should also be incorporated
and which should be thrice as much as that of Fish seed farm i.e. Rs. 24, 600 per hectare.

Husbandry.
A. Replacement of brooder Stock for Hatcheries
Rs. 15000 per quintal of the brooder stocked irrespective of the species with a bar of Rs 30000 per
beneficiary.
B. Provision of feed concentrate including water supply and medicines
Farms with dense stock : Rs. 100 per day
Farms with less stock : Rs. 60 per day
*Period of providing relief will be as per assessment of the state executive committee and the
central team (in case of NDRF). The default period for assistance will be up to 30 days, which may
be extended up to 60 days in the first instance and in case of severe draught up to 90 days.
Depending on the ground situation, the State Executive Committee can extend the time period
beyond the prescribed limit, subject to the situation that expenditure on this account should not
exceed 25% of SDRF allocation for the year.
