LAST CHANCE FOR MIGRATION OF INDUSTRIAL

RADIOGRAPHY DEVICE IN eLORA.

You may be aware that Industrial Radiography Module of eLORA is fully operational and the
radiography devices, as per our records, have been migrated to respective institute profile.
However, we are getting correspondences from radiography facilities for migration industrial
radiography device(s) (mainly X-ray machines) which are available with the institute.

In view of the above, we are facilitating a last chance for migration of Industrial radiography
device which are not available in your eLORA profile.

To check the radiography devices listed in your eLORA profile after log in, click on “My Institute
Details”, then click on “Equipments”

If any device(s) available with your institute is not listed in your eLORA
profile, please follow a dummy procurement procedure (steps are provided
below
Step 1: Submit the application form for “Procurement of Radiography
Device” through eLORA along with attachment of evidence that device is
available with the device with your institute.

Step 2: After obtaining approval from AERB, follow the procedures of (i)
equipment receipt intimation, (ii) source receipt intimation (in case of
IGRED) and (iii) Permission to operate the device as outlined in the
Guidelines for eLORA (Procedure given in next page).

If the device name (Model) is not appearing in the drop down list during
submission of “Procurement of Radiography Device”, then fill details of
the device in the attached excel sheet along with evidence that the device
is available with you to elora.ir@aerb.gov.in for migration.

1 Application for Procurement of Radiography Devices (for dummy approval):

Selection of Form: Regulatory Form → Industrial Radiography → Procurement of

Radiography Device

This form can be used for the approval of procurement of Industrial Radiography
Exposure Device. From the Regulatory form tab click the “PROCUREMENT OF
RADIOGRAPHY DEVICE “form, then the form will open as shown below.

Fill/select the fields in the tab “Equipment Details” and evidence that the device with Serial
Number is available with your institute in “other attachment” option. Then click on “submit”
button.

2. Equipment Receipt Intimation (for dummy approval):

Selection of Form: Regulatory Form → Industrial Radiography → Equipment Receipt

Intimation

After obtaining procurement approval from AERB, this form is required to be filled. To fill this
form, the Procurement approval reference no. is required to be selected. From the Regulatory
form tab click the “EQUIPMENT RECEIPTINTIMATION” form, then the form will open as
shown below.
Fill/select the fields in the tab “Equipment Receipt Details” and upload evidence that the device
with Serial Number is available with your institute in “other attachment” option. Then click the
“submit” button. Approval status can be viewed through the “My Application” tab.

3. Source Receipt Intimation (Only for Gamma Radiography Devices):

Selection of Form: Regulatory Form → Industrial Radiography → Source Receipt Intimation

This form is required to be submitted for Gamma Radiography devices after approval of the
Equipment Receipt Intimation. From theRegulatory form tab Click the “SOURCE RECEIPT
INTIMATION “, then the form will open as shown below.
Fill/select the fields in the tab “Source Receipt Details”. Then click the “submit” button. On
successful submission the message will appear in the screen and the application pdf can be
downloaded.

The status of the application can be viewed through the “My Application “tab.

4. Permission to Operate Radiography Devices:

Selection of Form: Regulatory Form → Industrial Radiography → Permission to Operate
Radiography Devices

This form is required to be filled for each radiography device before its routine operation. This form
can be filled after submission of Equipment Receipt Intimation and source receipt intimation (for
IGRED). From the “Regulatory form” tab Click the “PERMISSION TO OPERATE
RADIOGRAPHY DEVICES “, then the form will open as shown below.

Fill/select the fields in the tab “Radiography Device” Then click the “submit” button. On
successful submission the message will appear in the screen and the application pdf can be
downloaded.

The status of the application can be viewed through the “My Application” tab and the approval
letter can be downloaded after approval.
