Assalamu Alaikum WaRahmatullah

My dear brother,

Imagine that you are on a journey to a city and you have a map showing the way to the city, or in our
modern days, a GPS.

So, if there is someone you really missed in the city you are heading to, and you are confident in the
reliability of your map what would you do? You’d go quickly without searching for other routes, you would
focus solely on your objective, which is reaching the city to meet with those you love.

On the other hand. What would happen if you are not sure if your map is correct? You will not be going fast,
but rather going sceptically and stopping every now and then to ask people (directions) making sure you are
on the right route.

Your mind will be distracted, you will not be focusing on your goal or the precious companions you are
anxious to meet. Instead, you will stay hesitant and confused the entire time, unsure of the correctness of the
way.

So now how is this example related to Qurʿān?

Allāh says:

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to
Allāh ] * Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.
[2:45-46]

It is hard for whoever is hesitant and in doubt about his religion, (and unsure) that it is indeed the right path
to paradise.

Whenever he leaves disobedience (to Allāh), shayṭān will approach him saying:

“O you are leaving this sin wishing for paradise ? What if this paradise doesn't exist? That means it's a lose
lose situation.”

But this difficulty vanishes for those who are humbly submissive to Allāh ...who think… , and when ‘think’ (
‫ ) ﻳﻈﻨﻮن‬is mentioned in Qurʿān it usually implies the meaning of certainty ( ‫) اﻟﻴﻘﻴﻦ‬, those ...who think… ,
with certitude, that … they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him they know that Allāh will
bring them to account for their deeds, and that He rewards with Paradise or (punishes) with Hell Fire. When
they achieve certainty on that, then it become easy for them to perform acts of worship and abandon bad
deeds.

So my brother, my sister, whenever you feel like stopping acts of worship ask yourself: Am I longing for
Paradise? Am I certain about it's existence? Am I doubting that obeying Allāh is the way to Jannah? So why
are you becoming lazy?

So muster your faith and go quickly on the path to Allāh with no hesitancy without taking heed of the other
methods or the alternative ways. And direct your entire heart and soul towards that awaited meeting with
Allāh and as our beloved Prophet said:

«Whoever fears travelling at night, and whoever travels at night reaches his destination, Allāh provides him
with the most precious of goods, and indeed Allāh's goods are Paradise.»

‫ اﻟ ﺴ ﻼ م ﻋﻠﻴ ﻜ ﻢ ور ﺣ ﻤ ﺔ اﻟﻠ ﻪ‬.

‫أﺧﻲ ﺗﺼﻮر أﻧﻚ ﺧﺮﺟﺖ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻔﺮ وﻓﻲ ﻳﺪك ﺧﺎرﻃﺔ ﻟﻄﺮﻳﻖ اﻟﻤﺪﻳﻨﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺴﺎﻓﺮ إﻟﻴﻬﺎ أو –ﻛﻤﺎ ﻓﻲ أﻳﺎﻣﻨﺎ‬- GPS.
‫ ذ ﻫ ﻨ ﻚ‬، ‫ ﻻ ﺗ ﺒ ﺤ ﺚ ﻋ ﻦ ﻃ ﺮ ق ﺑ ﺪ ﻳ ﻠ ﺔ‬، ‫إ ذا ﻛ ﺎ ن ﻫ ﻨ ﺎ ك ﻣ ﻦ ﺗ ﺸ ﺘ ﺎ ق إ ﻟ ﻴ ﻪ ﻓ ﻲ ﻫ ﺬ ه ا ﻟ ﻤ ﺪ ﻳ ﻨ ﺔ وأ ﻧ ﺖ ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ﺛ ﻘ ﺔ ﻣ ﻦ ا ﻟ ﺨ ﺎ ر ﻃ ﺔ ﻣ ﺎ ذا ﻳ ﺤ ﺼ ﻞ ؟ ﺗ ﺴ ﻴ ﺮ ﺑ ﺴ ﺮ ﻋ ﺔ‬
‫ و ﻫ ﻮ اﻟ ﻮ ﺻ ﻮ ل إﻟ ﻰ اﻟ ﻤ ﺪﻳﻨ ﺔ ﻟﺘ ﻠ ﻘ ﻰ ا ﻷ ﺣﺒﺎ ب‬،‫ ﻣ ﺮ ﻛ ﺰ ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ اﻟ ﻬ ﺪ ف‬.

‫ ﻗ ﺪ ﺗ ﺴ ﺄ ل ا ﻟ ﻤ ﺎ ر ﻳ ﻦ ﻟ ﺘ ﺘ ﺄ ﻛ ﺪ ﻣ ﻦ ﺻ ﺤ ﺔ‬، ‫ ﺑ ﻞ ﺗ ﻤ ﺸ ﻲ ﻗ ﻠ ﻴ ﻼ و ﺗ ﻘ ﻒ‬، ‫ ﻣ ﺎ ذا ﻳ ﺤ ﺼ ﻞ إ ذا ﻛ ﻨ ﺖ ﺷ ﺎ ﻛ ﺎ ﻓ ﻲ ﺻ ﺤ ﺔ ا ﻟ ﺨ ﺮ ﻳ ﻄ ﺔ ؟ ﻟ ﻦ ﺗ ﺴ ﻴ ﺮ ﺑ ﺴ ﺮ ﻋ ﺔ‬، ‫ﻓ ﻲ ا ﻟ ﻤ ﻘ ﺎ ﺑ ﻞ‬

‫ ﺑ ﻞ ﺗ ﺒ ﻘ ﻰ ﻣ ﺘ ﺮ د دا ﺣ ﺎ ﺋ ﺮا ﻣ ﺘ ﺴ ﺎ ﺋ ﻼ ﻋ ﻦ ﺻ ﺤ ﺔ‬، ‫ ذ ﻫ ﻨ ﻚ ﺳ ﻴ ﻜ ﻮ ن ﻣ ﺸ ﺘ ﺘ ﺎ و ﻟ ﻦ ﻳ ﻌ ﻮ د ﻣ ﺮ ﻛ ﺰا ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﻬ ﺪ ف وا ﻷ ﺣ ﺒ ﺎ ب ا ﻟ ﺬ ﻳ ﻦ ﺗ ﺮ ﻳ ﺪ أ ن ﺗ ﻠ ﻘ ﺎ ﻫ ﻢ‬، ‫ا ﻟ ﻄ ﺮ ﻳ ﻖ‬
‫‪.‬اﻟﻄﺮﻳﻖ‬

‫ﻣ ﺎ ﻋ ﻼ ﻗ ﺔ ﻫ ﺬا ا ﻟ ﻤ ﺜ ﺎ ل ﺑ ﺎ ﻟ ﻘ ﺮآ ن ؟‬
‫‪ :‬ﻗﺎ ل اﻟﻠ ﻪ ﺗﻌﺎﻟ ﻰ‬
‫)) واﺳﺘﻌﻴﻨﻮا ﺑﺎﻟﺼﺒﺮ واﻟﺼﻼة وإﻧﻬﺎ ﻟﻜﺒﻴﺮة إﻻ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺨﺎﺷﻌﻴﻦ )( اﻟﺬﻳﻦ ﻳﻈﻨﻮن أﻧﻬﻢ ﻣﻼﻗﻮ رﺑﻬﻢ وأﻧﻬﻢ إﻟﻴﻪ راﺟﻌﻮن((‬

‫وإﻧﻬﺎ ﻟﻜﺒﻴﺮة(( ﺻﻌﺒﺔ‪...‬اﻟﺼﺒﺮ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﺼﺎﺋﺐ ﺻﻌﺐ واﻟﺼﺒﺮ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻄﺎﻋﺔ ﺑﺎﺳﺘﻤﺮار ﺻﻌﺐ واﻟﺼﺒﺮ ﻋﻦ ﻓﻌﻞ اﻟﻤﻌﺼﻴﺔ ﺻﻌﺐ واﻟﻤﺤﺎﻓﻈﺔ((‬
‫ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﺼ ﻼ ة ﺻ ﻌ ﺒ ﺔ ‪ . . .‬ﺻ ﻌ ﺒ ﺔ ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﻤ ﺘ ﺮ د د ا ﻟ ﺬ ي ﻳ ﺘ ﺸ ﻜ ﻚ ﻓ ﻲ ﺻ ﺤ ﺔ د ﻳ ﻨ ﻪ وأ ﻧ ﻪ ا ﻟ ﻄ ﺮ ﻳ ﻖ ا ﻟ ﻤ ﻮ ﺻ ﻞ ﺑ ﺎ ﻟ ﻔ ﻌ ﻞ إ ﻟ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﺠ ﻨ ﺔ ‪ .‬ﻛ ﻠ ﻤ ﺎ ﻛ ﻒ ﻋ ﻦ ﻣ ﻌ ﺼ ﻴ ﺔ ﺳ ﻴ ﺒ ﻘ ﻰ‬
‫‪:‬ﻳﺄﺗﻴﻪ اﻟﺸﻴﻄﺎن ﻳﻘﻮل ﻟﻪ‬
‫‪!).‬أﻧﺖ ﺗﻜﻒ ﻋﻨﻬﺎ رﺟﺎء اﻟﺠﻨﺔ؟ ﻣﺎذا إن ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﻫﺬه اﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﻮﺟﻮدة؟ إذن ﺗﻄﻠﻊ ﻻ ﺑﻠﺢ اﻟﺸﺎم وﻻ ﻋﻨﺐ اﻟﻴﻤﻦ(‬

‫ﻟ ﻜ ﻦ ﻫ ﺬ ه ا ﻟ ﺼ ﻌ ﻮ ﺑ ﺔ ﺗ ﺘ ﻼ ﺷ ﻰ أ ﻣ ﺎ م ا ﻟ ﺨ ﺎ ﺷ ﻌ ﻴ ﻦ ا ﻟ ﺨ ﺎ ﺿ ﻌ ﻴ ﻦ ﻟ ﻠ ﻪ ‪) ) . . .‬ا ﻟ ﺬ ﻳ ﻦ ﻳ ﻈ ﻨ ﻮ ن ( ( وا ﻟ ﻈ ﻦ ﻓ ﻲ ا ﻟ ﻘ ﺮآ ن ﻛ ﺜ ﻴ ﺮا ﻣ ﺎ ﻳ ﺄ ﺗ ﻲ ﺑ ﻤ ﻌ ﻨ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﻴ ﻘ ﻴ ﻦ ‪) ) . . .‬ا ﻟ ﺬ ﻳ ﻦ‬
‫ﻳ ﻈ ﻨ ﻮ ن ( ( أ ي ﻳ ﻮ ﻗ ﻨ ﻮ ن ) )أ ﻧ ﻬ ﻢ ﻣ ﻼ ﻗ ﻮ ر ﺑ ﻬ ﻢ وأ ﻧ ﻬ ﻢ إ ﻟ ﻴ ﻪ را ﺟ ﻌ ﻮ ن ( ( ﻓ ﻴ ﺤ ﺎ ﺳ ﺒ ﻬ ﻢ ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ﻣ ﺎ ﻋ ﻤ ﻠ ﻮا و ﻳ ﺠ ﺰ ي ﺑ ﺎ ﻟ ﺠ ﻨ ﺔ وا ﻟ ﻨ ﺎ ر ‪ .‬ﻓ ﻠ ﻬ ﺬا ﻟ ﻤ ﺎ أ ﻳ ﻘ ﻨ ﻮا ﺑ ﺎ ﻟ ﻤ ﻌ ﺎ د وا ﻟ ﺠ ﺰا ء‬
‫ﺳﻬ ﻞ ﻋﻠ ﻲ‬

‫ﻫ ﻢ ﻓ ﻌ ﻞ اﻟ ﻄﺎ ﻋﺎ ت وﺗ ﺮ ك‬

‫‪ .‬ا ﻟ ﻤ ﻨ ﻜ ﺮا ت‬

‫إ ذ ن أ ﺧ ﻲ وأ ﺧ ﺘ ﻲ ﻛ ﻠ ﻤ ﺎ ﺗ ﺜ ﺎ ﻗ ﻠ ﺖ ﻋ ﻦ ﻓ ﻌ ﻞ ا ﻟ ﻄ ﺎ ﻋ ﺎ ت ا ﺳ ﺄ ل ﻧ ﻔ ﺴ ﻚ ‪ :‬ﻫ ﻞ أ ﻧ ﺎ ﻣ ﺸ ﺘ ﺎ ق إ ﻟ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﺠ ﻨ ﺔ ؟ ﻫ ﻞ أ ﻧ ﺎ ﻣ ﻮ ﻗ ﻦ ﺑ ﻮ ﺟ ﻮ د ﻫ ﺎ ؟ ﻫ ﻞ أ ﺷ ﻚ ﻃ ﺎ ﻋ ﺔ ا ﻟ ﻠ ﻪ ﻫ ﻲ‬
‫ا ﻟ ﻄ ﺮ ﻳ ﻖ ا ﻟ ﻤ ﻮ ﺻ ﻠ ﺔ إ ﻟ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﺠ ﻨ ﺔ ؟ إ ذ ن ﻟ ﻤ ﺎ ذا أ ﺗ ﻜ ﺎ ﺳ ﻞ ؟ ﻓ ﺎ ﺳ ﺘ ﺠ ﻤ ﻊ إ ﻳ ﻤ ﺎ ﻧ ﻚ وا ﻣ ﺾ ﻓ ﻲ ﻃ ﺮ ﻳ ﻖ ا ﻟ ﻠ ﻪ ﺳ ﺮ ﻳ ﻌ ﺎ د و ن ﺗ ﺮ د د و د و ن ا ﻟ ﺘ ﻔ ﺎ ت إ ﻟ ﻰ ﻣ ﻨ ﺎ ﻫ ﺞ أ ﺧ ﺮ ى‬
‫و ﻻ ﻃ ﺮ ق ﺑ ﺪ ﻳ ﻠ ﺔ وا ﺟ ﻤ ﻊ ﻗ ﻠ ﺒ ﻚ و ر و ﺣ ﻚ ﻋ ﻠ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﻠ ﻘ ﺎ ء ا ﻟ ﻤ ﻨ ﺘ ﻈ ﺮ ‪ .‬ﻓ ﺈ ﻧ ﻪ ﻛ ﻤ ﺎ ﻗ ﺎ ل ﺣ ﺒ ﻴ ﺒ ﻨ ﺎ ﺻ ﻠ ﻰ ا ﻟ ﻠ ﻪ ﻋ ﻠ ﻴ ﻪ و ﺳ ﻠ ﻢ ‪ ) ) :‬ﻣ ﻦ ﺧ ﺎ ف أ د ﻟ ﺞ ( ( –أ ي ﺳ ﺎ ر ﻓ ﻲ ا ﻟ ﻠ ﻴ ﻞ‬
‫‪)).‬ﻟﻴﻘﻄﻊ اﻟﻤﺴﺎﻓﺎت ﺑﺴﺮﻋﺔ‪)) -‬و ﻣﻦ أدﻟﺞ ﺑﻠﻎ اﻟﻤﻨﺰل‪ .‬أﻻ إن ﺳﻠﻌﺔ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻏﺎﻟﻴﺔ‪ ،‬أﻻ إن ﺳﻠﻌﺔ اﻟﻠﻪ اﻟﺠﻨﺔ‬
