FLIR Reporter 8.5 offers a brand-new
Panorama tool for combining several
images into one larger image. Perfect
when you need to inspect objects that are
larger than the camera’s field of view.
TripleFusion Capabilities
Picture in Picture (PIP) features to make
your reporting easy and efficient. Simply
download infrared and visible light
images to Reporter 8.5. Easy-to-use
dialog boxes and drag-and-drop features
help you superimpose a smaller IR image
inside the visible light photo. You can
even move and size the PIP anywhere in
the photo to show the level of detail that’s
right for your report.
Automatic Report Generation

Reporter 8.5 makes it easy to create
customized reports, such as insertion of
logos— a benefit to consultants. Reporter
8.5 features a Report Wizard that guides
you step-by-step through the process of
adding images, and all other inspaction data
automatically to generate a professional,
easy to interpret maintenance report. To
create infrared inspection reports in a single
step, simply drag image files onto the Rapid
ReportManager™icon on the desktop and a
report is immediately generated.
Compatible with GPS and
a Wide Variety of Image
Formats
Reporter 8.5 supports the image formats
for FLIR’s newest infrared cameras as
well as for many of our older models.
For example, FLIR P660/B660/SC660
customers have built-in GPS capability
with their cameras. Reporter 8.5 software
automatically adds the GPS coordinates
to your report. Click on the Google™
Maps icon in Reporter 8.5 and the
location where the image was taken is
automatically pointed out on the map.
Reporter 8.5 also supports IR images for
the FLIR GF-Series cameras.
Windows®-based
Reporter 8.5 makes it easy to create
custom templates inside Microsoft Word
to automate your reporting needs.The
user has access to all of the familiar
formatting and template tools and
other powerful features built intoWord,
including spell check. Reporter 8.5
integrates powerful and intuitive infrared
image analysis and report generation
tools for extremely fast, convenient
evaluation of infrared inspection results.
Powerful Decision Support

Summary Table tool. Select the new
histogram and line profile graph features

Large facilities with insulation deficiencies can be a huge heat drain. With the Panorama tool several images can be combined to one image.
Picture in Picture makes it easy to describe energy waste. In this example
PIP shows a gymnasium wall that needs to be checked for insulation
deficiency.

understand charts and graphs.
Reporter 8.5 supports the embedded GPS feature in FLIR’s P660, B660, and
SC660 cameras. Downloaded images contain GPS coordinates. By clicking
the icon, you can see a satellite image, get address information, even street
directions to add to your report if needed. (The green arrow shows the
FLIR camera position).
