PREPARING CHILDREN FOR LIFE

Accomplishments and keeping an open mind is important to explore new ideas.

The aim of education is learning for life, more than learning for marks. For learning
to happen the learner’s mind should be active and stimulated all the more good. If in
collaboration with other learners. While the medium f activities for learning isn’t a curricular
aspect of every Indian school, but wherever it does there are ample opportunities for
teachers to plan effective lessons and bright chances for students to study in diverse and
meaningful ways.

Through regular participation in academic, literary, cultural and sports activities


children learn to create innovate explore ideas, events and attitudes from another person’s
point of view. They learn to evaluate different choices, deal with conflicts, make difficult
decisions, look into authority, understand civic responsibility acquire self-awareness and
learn concentration organisation, prioritisation and time management which later help
these young learners to take on the challenges gratitude and integrity. They learn to
perform as a tea handle victory and failure and also to appreciate the good work of others.
Therefore, it is important for schools to promote life skills education by creating friendly
supportive, stimulating and structure learning environment.

The right attitude for achieving success is by-product of strong life, skills and sound
value system. Skills that help an individual to be successful in living a productive and
satisfying life. The school activities play an integral role in attributing these life skills, values
integrity self-confidence and ability to build an opinion and voice it. As the right attitude is
the demand of job industry therefore thoughtful school activities are the most valuable gifts
a school can give to all its children to make them ready for a successful and happy life in and
outside school. They are empowered to respond to real life situations in positive and
responsible ways.
