FIX-O-FLEX

Properties:

FIX-O-FLEX is a one component, pasty adhesive- and sealing compound based on silylmodified
polymer (SMP), which hardens through humidity to a flexible product. During this no shrinkage occurs
and no other chemicals will be released.
Fix-O-Flex can be used as sealing compound in extremely strained joints, such as industrial plants,
roads.
On account of its high resistance to chemicals, FIX-O-FLEX is particularly suitable for high chemical
contaminated areas. In addition FIX-O-FLEX is also good for clean air rooms.
FIX-O-FLEX is proofed for the use in the food-area and for drinking water, for this look at our
certificates.
FIX-O-FLEX has a good UV-resistance and can be painted over.
FIX-O-FLEX is even in fresh condition very adhesive, so that already after joining the adhesive parts
together a high holding power is reached.
FIX-O-FLEX I even suitable for the covering under water.

Applications:
Bonding and sealing without primer on polyester (GFK), PVC, acrylic-glass, polystrol,
macrolon, steal, high-grade steel, aluminums, concrete, clinker, marble, glass and wood.
Compound for extremely high strained joints, in which only small movements will be expected
(10%) movement admission
Sealing and glueing also under water and on wet surfaces, test of bonding strength of the
MPA.

Processing:
The groundings have to be solid, bearing, clean and free of separating substances (grease, oil, etc.)
For high sucking groundings the use of FIX-O-FLEX Prime is recommended.
FIX-O-FLEX should be sprayed steady with force on the bonding area. For the processing we propose
the TPH hand press Z1+ or compressed air pistols out of our program. Opened bundles should be
used up soon.
The adhesion on hard to glue plastics like PE or PP (Polyfine) should be proofed before. On contact
surfaces like aluminum, galvanized steel plate, PVC, PS, Makrolon FIX-O-FLEX can be used without
Primer.
The adhesion on moistly concrete ground is similar high as on dry primed concrete. In addition
bonding under water is possible.
The time in which the material becomes hard is dependent on the humidity and the
temperature.Through the raising of temperature and humidity the hardnesstime can be shortened.

Special application:
The product is especially suitable for the adhession of TPH-swelling rubber even on humid
groundings, because FIX-O-FLEX reacts through humidity.

Attention:
FIX-O-FLEX contains no thinner, Isocyanates and silicons. Before start processing it is necessary to
read about precautionary measures and safety regulations on the safety data sheet. Also for non-
hazardous ingedients the usual precautionary measures for chemical products have to be taken.
