SERIAL Connection:
To connect to the switch with putty over a serial cable, the following settings are therefore necessary:
Speed (baud) => 9600
Data Bits => 8
Stop Bits => 1
Parity => None
Flow Control => XON/XOFF

Important!!!
So that Backspace works, you also need:
Putty configuration -> Terminal -> Keyboard -> change sequences sent by -> the backspace key => control-
H
And to input several lines:
Connection => Seconds between keep lives (o turn off)

Preparation:
- Assemble mounting elements
- Put GBIC's in Switch (just HP X120 and X130 models are allowed)
- Fix the IP sticker at the front side
- if spare device put sticker "spare" on the Switch
- Keep location IP list up to date
- Put Power suppley's (JG544) in the slots (AT2 just 1 power suppley needed).

If the Version doesn't fit, a firmware up/down grade is necessary:

Before you broadcast the firmware via tftp, you can take a quick check if the correct firmware is already
stored on the switch:
dir

Info: to edit the files on the switch you can also use the following command:
delete
rename

If it's not already on the Switch, you have to transmit the correct file over TFTP.
To do this, allocate an IP address at the management port (DHCP or Static).
