SCAN Electromechanical Contracting & Co. L.L.C is a private Electrical
Contracting and Trading Company operating in United Arab Emirates
since 1991. Scan strives for client satisfaction and has good reputation
with all has served. We involves in Electrical Contracting work for the
supply and installation, testing & commissioning of 132/33/11kv
Substation, Overhead Transmission Lines, Underground Cable up to
220kV. Our Management and Supervisory Staff have the experience of
installing approximately 600km of Cables from low voltage, 11kV,
33kV, 132kV, Control Cable and Fiber Optic Cables in the United Arab
Emirates during last 27 Years.
We hold our own warehouse, substantial stock of Transformers, RMU’s,
Switchgear, Feeder Pillars and Cables of various Voltage / Size,
Termination Kits, Jointing Kits and other related accessories.
Scan is registered with the FEWA (Federal Electricity and Water
Authority), SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority), DEWA
(Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) & Abu Dhabi (ADWEA, Abu
Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority) as Electrical Contractor &
Supplier.

THE PRODUCT
Eurogulf Transformar FZE has in-house facilities for design, manufacture and testing of transformers
that meet various applications for energy transmission, distribution and other industrial needs.
The company also manufactures the transformers for oil-field sector, which includes pulse rectifier
applications.
Eurogulf Transformer FZE has the proven capability to supply oil-immersed transformer also having
facilities for manufacturing Silicon, enviortemp FR3 and Midel liquid filled transformers for special
applications in hazardous areas.
Our transformers are type tested at the world-renowned testing laboratory, KEMA, Netherlands and
CESI, Italy.
The Eurogulf product range includes but does not restrict to the below range.
Oil-immersed distribution transformers starting from 100kVA

Oil-immersed power transformers up to 75 MVA, voltage up to 132 kV.
Package & unit type substation with LV and HV switchgear.
Multi-tap transformers to suit from 35 Hz to 80 Hz frequency systems for VSD

A Brief Note on SCAN Capabilities and Operations

SCAN Electromechanical Contracting & Co. L.L.C is a private Electrical
Contracting and Trading Company operating in United Arab Emirates. Scan
strives for client satisfaction and has good reputation with all has served. Our
utilities and organizations experience include the following:
Electrical Contracting work for the supply and installation of Overhead

Transmission Lines, Underground Cable up to 220kV, Transformer, Sub-stations
and Electrical Switchgear. Our Management and Supervisory Staff have the
experience of installing approximately 600km of Cables from low voltage,
11kV, 33kV, 132kV, Control Cable and Fiber Optic Cables in the United Arab
Emirates during last 20 Years.
SCAN also performs Trading and Marketing of Electrical Equipment. We hold

our own warehouse, substantial stock of Transformers, RMU’s, Switchgear,
Feeder Pillars and Cables of various Voltage / Size, Termination Kits, Jointing
Kits and other related accessories.
Scan has strong relation with many major manufactures and suppliers and is
well supported in the UAE.
CURRENT ACTIVITES;
Scan is registered with the FEWA (Federal Electricity and Water Authority),
SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority), and DEWA (Dubai Electricity
and Water Authority) as Electrical Contracting Supplier. And in Abu Dhabi
(ADWEA, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority) as a supplier agent.
Scan has executed a number of turnkey Power Projects to various areas under
the above mention Electricity and Water Authorities for Sharjah, Ajman, Ras-
Al-Khaimah, Fujairah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These Projects involved
installation of Overhead lines, Underground Cables including Terminating and
Jointing, Erection of Transformers and Switchgear.
SCAN has executed project for ETISALAT at various Telecom sites in the
Emirates of Fujairah, Ras-Al-Khaimah, Ajman and Sharjah. The projects mainly
consisted of installation of 11kV O.H. Lines, Underground Cabling, Erection of
Transformers and Sub-stations.
SCAN has carried out a contract for installation of 132kV Oil-Filled Cable and
Pilot Cable at Garhoud in Dubai as a Sub-Contractor to LINK MIDDLE EAST
LIMITED, Dubai under the supervision of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water
Authority).
SCAN’s first project was the installation of 132kV 90km of XLPE Cable by
DELTA Energy Cable Limited (now BICC) of Middlesex, U.K. for the project
of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority against the Tender No. DST/97/0146
in 1994 which includes Installation, Termination and jointing of 132kV Cable
and underground Fiber Optic Cable.

SCAN has been awarded with the following Turnkey projects by Sharjah
Electricity and Water Authority which are supply and Erection of 132kV / 33kV,
60 / 100 MVA Transformers at Al-Qasimia and 132kV / 33kV, 60 / 75 MVA
Transformers at Hamriyah, Sharjah.
SCAN with M/S GROUP SCHEIDER, FRANCE has joint venture to carrying
out the 132kV underground cabling in Qasimia, Supply & Installation of 132kV
/ 33kV, 60 / 75 MVA and Transformer for Sajjah Station.
SCAN holds the Agency of SGB Transformers Germany for the Emirates of
Sharjah and Northern Emirates and as a joint venture with SGB. We had
supplied and 100 / 75 / 60 MVA Transformer for Sharjah Electricity and Water
Authority, Cast Resin Transformer to ETISALAT and distribution Transformer
to the consumer in all the Emirates.
