1. Things to carry while travelling to Qatar

 Your original passport with minimum validity of 6 months.

 Old passport along with the new passport, in case the visa is issued in the old passport
number
 Print out of ETicket, including Return Ticket
 Print out of Business Visa / Residence Permit
 Original medical test report (GAMCA approved)
 6 Passport size clear photographs in blue background.
 Employment Contract signed by both the parties.
 Original Educational certificates for positions above Supervisor level.
 Original Technical certificates for positions above Supervisor level
 Copies of Educational Certificates for positions below Supervisor level.
 Copies of Technical Certificates for positions below Supervisor level.
Important Note: There are strict prohibitions against alcohol and drugs in Qatar. The death penalty may
be imposed on those who traffic drugs. Any other illegal substances such as pork or pork products and
alcohol may be confiscated if found in luggage at the airport.
If you are under medication and have to carry certain prescribed medicines you must have Authorized
Doctor’s prescription in Original and bill. Medicines should be carried along with its original packing and
literature so that custom authorities can easily identify them if required.
2. Once you arrive at Hamad International Airport ‐ Qatar:
1. If the original visa has been mailed to you prior to arrival or your visa is already stamped on
your passport, you can directly proceed to the immigration counter and present your visa
copy and passport.
2. After you’ve collected your checked baggage, you can exit the airport by passing through
Customs. There are two Customs channels to choose from.
a. Select the Green Channel if you have “Nothing to declare”.
b. Select the Red Channel if you have “Something to declare”. These include:
1. Alcoholic beverages, drugs, unauthorized medicines (cannot be imported under
any condition)
2. Exceeding permitted limits of foreign currency, jewellery and precious stones
3. Transporting prohibited and restricted weapons and firearms
4. In possession of illicit material
5. Carrying more than 400 cigarettes
6. In possession of personal items and gifts whose value exceeds QAR 3,000 (USD
825)
Please ask for assistance if you’re not sure which channel to use. If requested by a customs officer,
you are expected to disclose any amount of currency, jewelry or precious stones in your possession
Refusing disclosure and providing incorrect or incomplete information is a criminal act and may
result in confiscation of the items.
3. A representative from the Kentech will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall holding Kentech
logo placard.
4. In the unlikely event that there is no one to greet you, taxis are readily available at the front
of the airport and drivers speak English.

*Your airport pick up is arranged, our Driver will be waiting for you at Hamad
International Airport at the arrival gate holding KENTECH placard.
