PICK UP MECHANISM
Participants will be picked up on Saturday, 6th of July 2019. Picking up on Friday,
5th of July 2019 is only available for participants who stay extranight in our hotel.
The pick up points will be at :

 Adisucipto International Airport Yogyakarta

 Tugu Yogyakarta Station
 Lempuyangan Station

Participants will be picked up by committee only from those 3 pickup points and
within the arrival time between 6.00 am - 5.00 pm (GMT+7). The accommodation
from other pickup points and outside the scheduled time does not facilitated by
committee and delegates are expected to look for their own accommodation.

The pickups will be done gradually and will be informed later.

Arrival other than 5th (with condition as stated) and 6th of July 2019 is not the
responsibility of committee.

B. DEPARTURE MECHANISM
Delegate’s departure will be done on 9 th of July 2019 after 4 pm. Committee does
not facilitate the departure accommodation. Delegates are expected to look for
their own transportation either to airport or train station.

C. REGISTRATION
Registration will be done on 6th of July 2019 from 12.00 pm until 4.45 pm at MM
UGM Hotel lobby. Please bring these things when you register yourself:
 Official GM-ICA 2019 E-ticket that has already sent to your email. You don’t
have to print it, just show it to us through your gadget.
 Surat Perintah Perjalanan Dinas (Official Travel Warrant from Faculty or
University), if any.
 Student card and Passport (Overseas participants)

Participants who arrive after 4.45 pm is expected to depart to Faculty

of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing UGM and will register after the
event at MM UGM Hotel.
D. HOW TO TRAVEL AROUND

Online Ridesharing
Online ridesharing services such as GO-JEK and Grab is available in
Yogyakarta. Both services give you the option between a motorbike or a car as
vehicle of choice. You can install it on your devices by downloading it on
Playstore/ Appstore.
Fare: depends on the distance.

Yogyakarta city bus, Trans Jogja.
Fare: IDR 3,5K for single trip (the fare does not differ between going for only 1
stop or 10 stops- as long as you are on the bus).

Standard voltage in Indonesia is
220 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.
Power plugs and sockets
available in type C and F (with 2
holes). Therefore, you may need

converter if there are any

Water
Due to the Minister of Research,
Technology, and Higher Education’s
Instruction No. 1/M/INS/2019; GM-ICA
committee do not provide bottled
water. There will be refill water pump
at some spots. Participants are
advised to bring your own
tumbler/drinking bottle.
Internet services
Free wi-fi is available on UGM area
and the hotel. There will be further
explanation about how to connect
to the wi-fi.
Weather
You will be greeted by Jogjakarta's
heat and humidity so pick your
clothes accordingly. Don't forget to
bring umbrella as Jogja's weather
can be quite unpredictable.
